Girlfriend's daughter got two little chihuahua looking dogs. Well they made 3 more pups and then apparently made 1 or 2 more after that. So I need to put a stop to all of this. Anyway, when I fly out next time, mama's getting fixed. I think their is another female, but she's probably too young to fix. Can I get a ballpark on price and time frame? Also maybe a decent clinic as well? She lives in the Tha Raeng area ( a little south east of DMK). I'm getting a vehicle and can drive to wherever necessary.
I checked some old posts on this but they weren't for Bangkok. thanks

Thanks for the replies. I'm thinking that memory foam may not be popular in Thailand because of how hot it is there. Too bad too, because in the US we can get great deals on these mattresses. I guess I'll drive to one of the department stores and see what they have.

I'm looking to buy a full memory foam type mattress in early January for my girlfriend's daughter. I was planning to go to Homepro with a pickup. Any suggestions where a good price might be found?

I tried to bump the thread from 2013 but it is archived. Anyway this kiosk is in chaweng across street from McDonald's. I got 34 baht for usd today. Another one near the stone penus in lamai beach. Just trying to help people save some $.

I ended up going to home pro and found everything I needed. They even had the same kind of stuff that I already bought in the US for half the price. On well now I know.

Thanks for the suggestions. I know about home pro and plan to go there anyway seeing how it's along the baht bus from my hotel on beach. Thai watsadu looks like a home depot. It's out of the way, but may be what I'm looking for. Couldn't find the other one.

I need some plumbing parts to fix my girlfriend's broken faucet. I will be in Pattaya first beforehand so I would like to get the stuff there. If not plumbing shop maybe home improvement shop? Thanks

The real question is where did the truck go after the fall?
-
easy, the blue car should have yielded for the car in front. not rocket science.

Filled a small suitcase with food last trip. Took it as carry on and only USA asked about it.

I love these starbucks haters. Starbucks coffee tastes perfectly fine. Is it the best? No. Is it as bad as 7/11 or mcdonalds? Hell no! Where I come from I buy a bag of newhall coffee beans and grind the beans and use my aeropress (amazon) espressos maker. Nothing is better to me.

This is one of the few times that I agree that it was racist. No other way to spell it out. Skin color alone is what set her off (unless that's not you in the pic)

Thanks for the replies. Chumphon to Koh Tao first sounds best. Maybe I'll take the afternoon flight out of Chumphon or the train or bus.
I'm leaning toward these two itineraries:
April 9-11 Kho Tao
April 11-13 Kho Phangan (FMP is on the 11th)
April 13-16 Kho Samui (last day travel to Surat Thani)
or
April 9-12 Kho Tao
April 12-16 Kho Samui (last day travel to Surat Thani)
-
Date: Arrive late on April 8 - Songkran for 8 nights.
Plans: 1 or 2 dives, beaches, great food, fun Songkran activities, rent motorcycle, bicycle, snorkeling
Not interested: FMP
(cheap flights)
1 Surat Thani
3 Kho Tao
4 Kho Samui (last day travel to Surat Thani)
Other options:
(cheap flights)
1 Surat Thani
2 Kho Tao
2 Kho Phangan
3 Kho Samui (last day travel to Surat Thani)
(expensive/ cheap flights)
3 Kho Samui
3 Kho Tao
2 Kho Phangan (last day travel to Surat Thani)
(expensive/ cheap flights)
2 Kho Samui
3 Kho Tao
3 Kho Phangan (last day travel to Surat Thani)

This sentence gives me a headache.
Do you say that you will be at the GFs place only one day?
Going to Samui and back. Only in GF's home on the first day.

Just out of interest. Why are you bringing with you ?
I'm up in the sticks & can get all, any fittings I need.
It's only a few items. Maybe 2 or 3. I don't know if I will bring it or buy it there. Just not sure how much time I have there because we are flying out the same day.
-
I assume they are because the sizes looked like US 3/4" at my GF's place. I need to buy some fittings and things but would hate that they don't thread properly when I arrive.

Uber is an on demand service.
You install their app on your phone and create an account with your credit card (for billing purposes).
When you want to go somewhere, you open the app and it uses your phones GPS to find your current location. You type in the address where you want to go and it contacts Uber cars near you and tells them where you are and where you want to go. When a driver accepts the trip you get to see where he is on the map and how long until he will arrive at your location.
He arrives and picks you up, takes you to your destination and you get charged through the app.
The service works very well. Drivers usually speak English and cars are nice.
GrabTaxi works the same way, expect instead of nice private cars they are all regular taxis. Thanks, I know this. I'm asking where they pick up at BKK because I know that airports don't allow them unless they pay. So is there a spot for eride vehicles like USA has?
-
Is it legal for the Uber drivers to pick up at BKK? If so, where do they stop at?
-
ok thanks. I think I'll remove the packaging.

Are there any customs issues bringing household hardware like a faucet, shower head into Thailand? I want to fix some problems in my GF's apartment and don't really know how easy or time consuming it will be to shop the day arrive. Thanks

Cialis, Viagra as well as Sidegra (Thai generic of Viagra) are all prescription drugs and you need to see a doctor before.
Now some pharmacies might sell you some without prescription, BUT remember that also lot of street pharmacies are selling copies.
Sent from my HTC 10 using Thaivisa Connect mobile app
Now I'm even more confused, LOL... So If I walk off the street, I could get bunk drugs at a pharmacy. Ok. I could probably get a prescription at home, but damn they make it so embarrassing!
-
lol. I read another old post about some generic stuff available at the pharmacy. Can somebody walk off the street and buy this (forget name) at a pharmacy?
Any problems bringing a cardboard box into Thailand?

I have a couple of mattress toppers that I'm planning to bring in a box structure duck taped up from the US. It will meet the limits for the aiorline and I don't think my airport will fuss over it. Will Customs in BKK make a fuss with it? Anything I need to be aware of? Thanks
