  1. Fresh Khat leaves contain cathinone substance, if consumed, can cause hallucination. It is popular among foreigners.

Ah yes, those pesky foreigners ... Its popular in Middle East and East Africa, esp. Somalia (thats why somalis are impossible to integrate) but what would a thai know about the World ... Nothing I guess ...

Meanwhile in Thailand thousands of Youngsters use yabba on a daily basis and compared to Khat is way more dangerous but again, the knowledge here is minimal ... gigglem.gif

  2. Meanwhile, the prime minister called on related authorities to do all their best to ensure security and safety for all tourists.

Somebody here could learn something in stead of killing their tourists on Mafia Islands, have the Police extort them and many other disgusting Things ...

Cambodia can easily get over 8 mill. tourists in 2020 since people will stop once and for all to come to Thailand - PM will ensure that ... Nothing left in Thailand except some women spreading their legs coffee1.gif

  3. Hoi An is a great place with children. Its quiet but many Things to see and close to Da Nang.

Hoi An has 2 beaches - An Bang and Cua Dai - that easily beat any Beach in Thailand. Sunbeds cost about 45B that will be refunded if you eat lunch at the restaurant where you decide to get sunbed. Cheap great food at Beach. Food and drinks are half Price compared to Thailand and better ...

In Hoi An I would recommend Hai Au Hotel or Hoi An Garden Villas - both cost 30-40 USD incl. Breakfast, good value.

Vietnam is so much better to have Holiday in than Thailand. Thaiwife and I will probably move to Vietnam since all is just getting worse and worse here in Chiang Mai ...

  4. Well folks, this can happen in a Banana-Republic overnight. However, the current government is only trying to turn this country into "A STABLE COUNTRY". Like China, North Korea, Iran and Russia.

So, the order of the day for every Farang must be: Invest every Satang you have in Thailand. For you and your Farang money, the future looks bright in Thailand. Don't miss out on it !

    Cheers.

Opps, I interpreted it completely different, maybe I shouldn't make plans to move out of Thailand?

Nah, I think I will continue with my plans as I've had enough of Thailand now and lucky enough, my Thai wife too.

+1 (and my thaiwife too) ...

  5. I think the Thai PM is showing bravery in even attending .....the high risk of either the Political forces abroad harming him in word or person are not insignificant.

It's not the safest of environments for someone leading a Nation by seizing power to wander into.

Lets hope for him it's not a deliberate grilling.

I feel words may be said he may not like .

American media will be like sharks on home turf.

Not to mention world media .

He has some spine in going.

But it might not be so pleasant .

Even risk of assassination are present

Its not bravery, its ignorance ... I hope UN are gonna give him a feeling of being the unwanted clown of the community ...

Your last sentence would be appreciated ...

  6. For those who are not in the know about Hong Kong movie stars, Michelle Yim Wai-ling, 60, is a famous actress who starred in the 1976 hit television series, “The Legend of the Condor Heroes.”

Simon Yam, 60, is a veteran Hong Kong-based actor and film producer who appeared in the second “Lara Croft Tomb Raider” movie.

Yes, that really sounds like they are BIG stars ... cheesy.gifcheesy.gifcheesy.gif

Why they need to boost tourism ... TAT expect no less than 30 mill. this year and #21 mill. tourist (Aussie) just arrived the other day to receive some monkey-seat return ticket ... Everything is just dandy, no problems here ... gigglem.gifgigglem.gifgigglem.gif
