4.6. Maintenance and accommodation
As with granting leave to remain (paragraph 3.5 above refers), indefinite leave to remain is rarely refused on maintenance and accommodation grounds - either on their own or in combination with other grounds. To ensure a consistent approach across UK Border Agency, maintenance and accommodation should be included in the grounds for refusal only with the agreement of an SEO or above.

The Government intends to start charging fees to lodge immigration appeals, including asylum appeals. A 12 week public consultation has been launched. You can have your say and access the relevant documents here. -

To prevent your mom's sister from sponsoring you, they may need to update the immigration rules further.
However, if this is an entry clearance application, then if you are refused because of not complying with the guidance, then you have an AR and not full rights of appeal. So, it may be better to comply with the guidance.
