Hey guys, so I got a tourist visa on arrival (30 days) and had it extended for another 30 days at the immigration office. I want to stay in the country for another 90 days, and I want to make the trip outside of the country as quick as possible. My questions are:
1) Which country should I fly out to from Chiang Mai? (Shortest trip)
2) Will the immigration office be open in another country on April 14th? (Festival)
3) If yes to the above, how long will it take me to apply/receive a 60 day tourist visa (which can then be extended for another 30 days at the immigration office in CM?), ideally I want to get it all done in less than a day, so I don't have to spend the night in another country
4)If no to question 2, will I be able to fly to another country, and fly right back into Thailand and get another tourist visa on arrival? How long do I have to leave Thailand before I return?
Thank you very much for your time and answers, greatly appreciated.

Perhaps you have a different idea of nice than I do:most of the serviced apartments I've looked at start at about 2K baht/night... haven't found anything nice for 50Kish/month

That is hardly 'taking your pick' is it?
I too have a differing idea of nice than you do. Though Centrepoint Petchburi Soi 15/Pratunam is pleasant enough, the others likely I would not step foot in.
Here are some other candidates to consider. The website is comprehensive.
Thank you. Anything specific you would recommend?

Hey guys I have a budget of about 50K/month after utility bills, and I'm looking for a clean apartment to live in for 30-45 days. I do not really care about location, I just want a place that's really clean. Suggestions are greatly appreciated.

thank you for your responses!

any idea what the best serviced apartment I can get with 45K baht/month is?

is the omni a monthly rental place? I'm really indecisive and have decided that I want to stay in Bangkok for just a month (might extend the stay), and then travel to other cities in Thailand. Can anyone recommend a nice hotel that does monthly rentals? Budget is probably like 45K including electricity.

on second thought, I don't think I would want to be in area that's too "touristy"

I don't really care about the location as long as it is in a safe place to be honest.. I'd like something that has a pretty nice gym, and a little more luxurious/bigger than the average condo size in Bangkok. Thanks for your help.

Hey guys, will be travelling to Bangkok mid february, and looking to stay till about mid July. I was recently in Chiang Mai and stayed at a monthly rental hotel which I really liked "CM Prestige Hotel" and it was dirt cheap (20K baht). If there is something similar to that in Bangkok please let me know. Otherwise will likely rent a nice condo out, are there any specific websites that I should be digging through? I was looking through airbnb but it looks like most of the places are overpriced, since it's mostly short term stays. Thanks in advance.

Hey guys, the title says it all. I am looking for a personal trainer who knows his shit, looking to stay in Bangkok for 5 months, and I want to be bulking up during my stay. Expensive/cheap, doesn't matter, as long as the trainer can efficiently help me out. Ideally I would like to be able to work out at the condo gym, so someone who is willing to travel a bit would be nice. Thank you in advance.

If it's Thai beef, it's usually not to the standard I'd prefer...
what about the chicken?

Where can I find 95% lean ground beef in Chiang mai? Egg whites? I tried rimping supermarket, but they don't even know how lean their ground beef is, and they didn't have egg whites. Thanks for the help in advance.

are private/personal chefs hard to come across in Chiang Mai?
-
I agree with you completely. I just don't have the time...

I guess I'm going to have to look into home cooked meals, does anyone have any information on personal/private chefs that can cook at your home?
-
how do people bulk up in this city? :/

Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone can recommend some healthy restaurants that provide delivery. I am specifically looking for healthier type foods, with the calorie count information on each of their meals. (GMO free would be a huge bonus, but not required)
Thanks in advance!

How long would I have to be in another country before flying out? Can I fly into a country, and immediately fly back into Thailand? Thanks for all the answers! (I'm Canadian by the way)
