Yes I'm insulated by property and one business in Thailand.. But annoyingly was about to transfer 100k across..
-
Hmm wd have to go a fairway to think that was suicide...par for the course imo

I guess a big drawback now is the sterling rate!
-
It was meant as a generic pronoun.
-
If you fly premium?
-
Yeah don't quite get why one needs to stay awake to enjoy it to the max.. the 'as much as you can eat' approach perhaps
-
Oh dear. That was one of the attractions of Eva premium economy.
-
Unfortunately, to make room for these seats, EVA took 4" off each premium economy seat.
???
-
You forgot noisy and smelly
-
Eva have had a 5 star rating for a while, and a great safety record.
You're right about Eva business class seats being wider than Thai.
Still would use Thai economy over Eva tho.
-
Bear in mind that Mazda Thailand sometimes take an age to release updates..
-
I used to do Eva premium when I cd stretch to it- but Thai economy is not at all busy and you can usually stretch out..also Better food and newer planes on the LHR route.
If I cd afford business class I'd choose Thai simply over the width of the seat/bed. Correct me if wrong but Thai looks a lot wider. For me, to arrive in good shape with a good nights sleep is worth it

That's a great deal!

Imo Chang is ok but it really needs to be kept cold to to its malty taste. Usually I end up discarding the last quarter due to going warm/ being undrinkable
-
Thats a brilliant suggestion!
Btw first noticed the massive difference in long haul air fares between uk and Europe when I booked a couple of finnair tickets from Paris to BK for relatives..about 1300euros per ticket!

With the beer monopoly, how do these small producers getting around this draconian law to sell in other venues? I've seen several restaurants selling Thai brewed craft beers recently.
I'd assumed small Brewers could only sell 'onsite'
-
Yes that's how i normally book. Also googleflights are sometimes very cheap.
Another is keeping up to date on airline offers
-
I used to take Qatar but I just prefer the night direct flights.
One thing I'm looking into are business flights direct from Paris or Amsterdam.. and getting a cheap flight over from London. It's so much cheaper!!

I'm avoiding the A380 like the plague. I'd like to try it out one day but getting to BKK at 6am saps my will to live.I forgot Thai operate the a380 on the day route...
Yes you'd think they would move the A380 to the night flight, to take on EVA.

I guess we are being replaced by a brainwashed PC generation who can't see the hypocrisy in signing online petitions on smartphones made by the slave trade
So I understand the sentiment with not eating at such a restaurant but cmon you're in Thailand ..

I'm not as rich as you sorry. My dad went by Thai airways business and loved it. Apparently the food was excellent. Last year I put my mum in business while I sat in coach. I did get to have a close look en route that time. I'm only giving my opinion based on what was reflected in my earlier posts.
You admit in an earlier post to not having used EVAs service so how can you then comment. I have used both on many occasions and would take EVA over Thai. I am not Thai bashing I just prefer EVA, look a the number of crew EVA have in Business compared to Thai, the level of catering on EVA is a full 5 course meal when departing BKK . Both use 777-300 EVA gets 38 Business seats and Thai 42 in a slightly smaller space (check seatguru.com) ... I have tried both so think I am in a better position to compare. Trying to assess EVA business class catering if you have only flown cattle.........For me I'd choose the Thai design. It's newer with more modern screen, it has more space IMO, more privacy and the seat cushion/bed is much wider. Thai F&B is miles better too.
I'm not even sure EVA folds completely flat, my mum said there was some issue with it which stopped her sleeping.

Recently tried a very nice beer brewed in Phuket called Chalawan; it's in several restaurants in Bangkok now.

Just wait til wikileaks reveals their info in Clinton. Boom.

Swiss exports have been hit badly. All their products are costing a fortune now
