Nothing in there for house/condo, services, etc, etc?
I bought, so condo costs are about 130-150 per day inc annual fee, other bills like vet/dental/car insurance are maybe 100? Just guessing

Prayut wants a modern Bangkok where everyone is forced to shop in malls, it's like Night of the living dead.
I really miss the streetfood and fruit juice stalls opposite thonglor BTS. -
She needs her coffee fix by 10 or i might get stabbed

Really, can you post a breakdown....?
Maybe not as much as that, I reduced it to 3-
Starbucks with the wife every morning, 500
Petrol per day 200
Lunch/dinner 1500
Shopping clothes/ food /dog 500
bills and other expenses like the vet 250 per day
Something like that. If I didn't live in central BK it would be a lot less

Outgoings in Thailand guessing 3000 a day in my case

Yeah noticed that quite a few farangs aren't generous, even the ones who act rich.
Had that with a musician I met a few yrs back. Tight as a snake. Then the bf of a girl I know. Literally paid for everything the 2 days I was with them
There are exceptions inc a nice couple I met through TV -
Seems ridiculous to give away free tickets. I don't see this service lasting.

Prayut seems to kind of miss the main issue every time..it's easy to get a traffic violation when you're a good driver, as you might have to do something that breaks the law of the road due to someone else's crap driving.

Jon make sure you shop around for flights too On a average I pay no more than £200 per leg based on a return. Sometimes some good deals out of London City airport too. (Assuming your in london N1) £200 per leg is based on a fly within 2-3 day booking so last minute. These figures are for economy fligjts which are not direct but under 16.5 hours total travel time.
Wd love to know more (single back to city airport).. esp as I live 20 minutes from there.
missed my flight back and there was no way to economically do a replacement.

Question. I am surprised this area would be popular with Airbnb. Are your clients Thai or foreigners?
Does the building give you problems with short term rentals?
To be honest I wasn't sure how popular it would be. But it's one of the best condominiums in the area, close to airport link, modern and with a 7-11 and all facilities.
Our studio is small and bookings are all foreigners on a budget, but so far all very nice. No problem with the building at all, as there are so many foreigners renting there.

Thailand throws a lot of challenges. One is you might find your dream girl but when you get married she likely will become a different person overnight. Just hope that you like that different person [emoji41]

At cessation of WW2, the vast amounts of gold, jewels, valuables, treasures, looted by the Japanese from the countries they invaded "disappeared". Some say MacArthur's keen protection of Japan might have had something to do with that.
Do some research.
And the yanks helped themselves to a lot of Japanese goodies too.

Trump will come into serious conflict with his defence secretary over Israel policy.. let's see how it pans out

Airbnb brings a good return if you want to part time rent. On a 1.2m studio in srinakarin I can make 15,000 plus a month

I took a year to buy. Did my research on the area and chose an older but well managed condo building

The Palestinian Arabs started the violence in the first place. In case you have noticed, they are the ones with no country or working economy. THEY have certainly reaped what they have sown.
Ok just to educate people who don't know, the British controlled Palestine until 1948, prior to that a Partition Plan was drawn up by the UN. Unfortunately some Zionist dude decided not to recognize this and declared a Jewish state (on the day of the end of British rule) - this was an unspecified area with no borders, infuriating the Neighbouring countries and inevitably led to a war which the Jews had kind of planned for
It's been like this ever since.

She couldn't keep it in her pants and got shot and took 2 guys with her.
Chip about women? Can we help -
The bottom line is Israel doesn't want peace

Be careful of that weird 'tax' the seller is supposed to pay - but which often gets passed along to the buyer.

Japan isn't as expensive as many people think it is. The cost is largely irrelevant as you won't get a visa to live there easily. If you have a job it isn't hard to get a visa and even PR but there is no retirement visa.
I could live in Japan on what I spend in Bangkok but would have to be more careful. I lived there for 6 years.

If it's the same to live in Japan why would you need to be more careful -
Netanyahu is a criminal, his family have been up to no good for decades. He helps give Israel a bad name

It pissed them off and they kicked butt and took the names of those percecuting them. Never again!
Do you think it's a classic case of the abused turning abuser -
Being just a couple of years after the holocaust, how do you think this affected the mentality of Jewish settlers in designated Israel and the initial conflicts? Serious question

Thought it was a brilliant idea, sure they'll think of something else.
