Personally, I find the disorganized Thai bureaucratic system much less tyrannical than the organized and brutal bureaucracy of my home country, the Democratic Socialist Republic of New Zealand.
Might get better once Horseface pisses off!

No, I do not read pharmaceutical inserts anymore because I have rejected both tablets and vaccines. Instead, years ago I transitioned to the devine medicine, urine, which returned my body to health and vitality.
You could probably make a good income in public toilets.

Wasn't trying to buy illegal Thai ID. I wanted a legal one for her.
She will probably get more ripped off in Myanmar as she is not very smart. She has been in Thailand over 10 years and I think would have been entitled to a Thai ID if she had proof of that.
She is going back to Myanmar with a friend soon hopefully to get ID.
She's not the only one who's not real smart!

Just because the man is a "Tick Tok Star" does not mean that he is not entitled to justice when being sold a bad second -hand car. If the dealer managed to unload a 'dog' onto the unfortunate man, the dealer should make some recompense.

I’m not sure how they work, I just know that they work to completely get rid of hemorrhoids. They’re non habit forming and safe to use as often as needed.
Best dosage is 500 mgm twice a day. Don't take for longer than 3 months.

Thank you for this. I wanted to get a second bivalent booster shot before my trip to Thailand the end of this month. (I had my first bivalent (5th Moderna) last Sept, before my last trip.) The pharmacist wouldn't give it me. She said the CDC (I'm in NYC) didn't recommend it. I called the CDC for clarification but so far they haven't gotten back to me.
Just get vaccinated for OCD!

That is not 'uncommon' for those imbecils that do not have proper insurance and can not pay the hospital. He was lucky he got any treatment.
How empathetic! <deleted> insurance companies will do anything they can to avoid paying out. And what's an "imbecil"?

Do not give the guy money.
Say you want a photo taken with him as you shake his hand and hand over the 'tip' as you are so pleased with the service.... I bet he will decline. Next learn some Thai language so you can really understand what he is saying next time..
I dont know how anyone can live with someone and marry them yet not be able to speak at least their partners basic language.
I am not saying this is the case for the OP but many times I have heard a farangs Thai wife telling lies to their husband about charges, money etc from builders, service people and shops etc so they can get some extra cash. I feel worse for the people the women are blaming as the faeang gets angry and the people feel uncomfortable with the situation. Being dependant, reliant and trusting someone you can't even speak the same language is really dumb.
It's best not to find your loving wife in a brothel!

Is this the same health minister who derided foreigners as dirty and bringing in the virus? Double standards or what! And we all know why. Money talks and those living in Thailand put at risk to keep the pay masters happy.
He didn't say foreigners were dirty, but Europeans. And I can assure you he's spot on!

I have written about this situation here before.
I was diagnosed with an enlarged prostate late last year.
I decided I didn't want to continue with the prescribed medication and so, after consulting Dr Google, I changed my diet (to Keto) and took more exercise. That was in January.
After four months I had lost 20kg (+/-45lbs), the prostate reduced and, in consultation with my doctor, I discontinued the medication.
A further 'side effect' was that my blood pressure returned to normal and, again after speaking with my doctor, I no longer take bp medication.
Eight months later, I am still reasonably fit, the weight has not returned and I can still enjoy a eating and drinking.
Weight is everything!

where in Bangkok can i find a good doctor or place to purchase good stockings?
thank you
Lazada.:- Class II or III stockings are much cheaper than, say, the shop at the Police General Hospital. (300 baht compared to German imports at 1300 baht.) Black or beige. I often wear coloured class 2 stockings so I don't look like my grandmother!

I have to disagree with you, as I believe the blame lay solely on the intruder, I mean you know that you wouldn't risk going onto a neighbours property at night or any other property for that matter.
It's called trespassing and the intruder was out to steal, regardless if it was ganja, his intention was clear, a good beating should have made him learn a lesson, in my days, the cops would do it.
The fact that he refused medical treatment when it was to be administered, shows to me that he is incapable of accepting things for what they are and has a problem mentally.
He is lucky my wife didn't catch him in our yard as she wields a manchette pretty well and won't think twice about using it.
As for the relatives, well to me, it shows that they are only after money as they can't see past their own noses, the guy was in the wrong place at the wrong time and unfortunately got a beating which medical treatment could have sorted, however he refused it, so there is no manslaughter case to be answered and no compensation to be made in my opinion.
Everyone has a right to defend their property and this sends a clear message and is within his rights in my opinion.
I'd be worrying about my wife, if I were you!

Recent research shows adverse effects in knee joint from too many cortisone injections. (We all know that anyway. Damages tendons). They're getting better results from hyaluronic acid injections. (A lubricant often used in eye drops for treatment of corneal pathology).

Get a crown. It's important for keeping the bone intact, maintaining the structure of the mouth, and ensuring proper bite. You shouldn't even get your wisdom teeth taken out unless it's unavoidable. Dentists often say you don't need them but their removal causes the mouth to shrink leading to constricted airway, breathing problems, and other issues.
What <deleted>!

It depends on where the tooth is, one's age, and how important that particular tooth is in biting and chewing.
At my advanced age, I would only have teeth restored if critical. Two extracted in the last two years, I get along OK without them.
IMO you could probably have a molar in the position you describe removed without missing it much.
I've found dentists here can extract teeth quite painlessly with injections, your choice if you want nitrous oxide instead.
You do have the option of replacing with an implant later; however, that's a lot more expensive than a crown, 55K-60K baht.
You don't have Nitrous Oxide "instead of an injection". You still have the injection.

Perharps I should change my original post to;
"Are there any dental hygiene experts out there that can tell me how I should be brushing my teeth." ????
I guess I'll go back to looking on eBay or get somebody to send some from overseas.
It's not rocket surgery! Poor brushing technique is nearly always due to laziness. You must brush for a TIMED 2 minutes, not guessing. And when you turn your hand around, don't miss the canine area. And each tooth has 5 surfaces. And floss at night. And think about a "Waterpik", because all the brushing in the world won't get every bit of stringy food out, just the plaque.

You could always go for an electric toothbrush, which are always soft. They usually have 30 second warnings, and a 2 minute alarm. In the end, they don't clean better, but clean easier. Therefore, better for people who don't have good brushing technique.

Banks and immigration. A short story
in Pattaya
Posted
This is a "short story", compared to my driving licence renewal. New address and new passport= 3 day nightmare! And then, even though I've got cataracts (fixed soon I hope?), they did everything to pass me, tapping me on the arm when the 2 sticks were aligned, giving me 2 or 3 guesses to get the colours right. And didn't even put "glasses" on my licence! Lovely people.
