  2. Unable to find old "Pet" Forum so have posted here. I have a 2 year old mixed breed dog. A month ago some reddening of the lower front jaw appeared which has gradually increased. He has always eaten lots of sandy soil when out walking, very specific as to where he eats, he doesn't eat grass as the other two dogs do. He often pants and dribbles, unless at rest. There seems to be an extra 2 very small teeth one of which has broken. A couple of days ago he must have bit something and lip was damaged and bleeding. He is being medicated but due to the location of the damage he is obviously uncomfortable and bleeds slightly if panting. The intention is to take him to the animal department at Khon Kaen University. Has any other dog owner here in Thailand seen mouth cancer ?
  3. Can anyone recommend a supplier of HP printer cartridges in Khon Kaen ? I trying to get standard size cartridges for HP printer, cartridge number 935. Can find online only 935XL.
  4. There are many Thai sites that offer free viewing of films and TV series. They - the film or serial episodes - cannot be downloaded. Most offer a choice to look for Thai dubbed or English with Thai subs. There are ads at the beginning but stop once film is being viewed. There is always MoNo29live to watch a film in real time.

    Rubbish

OP - At least they did something. They built a cement factory about 2 km away, the cement trucks would wash out their rig ( ? ) in the field every evening. It stopped when part of the land which had been a short cut to the factory was closed off, so all the drivers did was enter the field from another direction. Building waste has appeared once. The local govt was informed but nothing done even though it was known who was cleaning the trucks. As this land was flooded 2 years ago, the first time in 50 years the grasses are strugling to survive.

    Rubbish

Tired of seeing mounting amounts of various forms of rubbish being dumped on unclaimed grazing land for buffalo and cows and coming closer to a friends house my friend made a phone call the local govt office. A couple of days later the cleanup crew arrived

    Rubbish

Not long after I moved to the outskirts of a small town some 50km south of Khon Kaen a basic keep fit park was made with a 500 mtr walking and cycling track, an area for ball games and some delapidated keep fit machines. Within a few days rubbish arrived and despite bins being provided people prefered to drop the bags and bottles where they were sitting. After a few weeks I got a plastic bag a pair of tongs and picked up the rubbish every day for a week. Eventually a local govt worker was put to task keeping the flowers and trees and rubbish in order> A year later and every thing is again back to how it was, rubbish everywhere. The local govt collection of whatever big bins are made available on the roads are emptied daily, even on New Years Day but fly tipping in buffalo and cattle continues at a pace.
  8. Thank you so much for the information especially as it is Thailand relevant.
  9. Never had an issues with PO Box anywhere. I have a PO Box because letters used to get wet in the box at the gate to where i live. It's only 2km from where I live and cost me 200baht per year. Even when I forgot to pay for the box one year and a month late mail was still in my box. If it is was too big for the box they put a note in the box to ask me to collect. Time perhaps to discuss with your PO manager.
  10. Don't open any emails purporting to come from Thai Post Office they never use email to contact a customer
  11. It will be classed as a liquid so normal post is not possible. You should be able to send by DHL ( I send a shjpment of hair products to a daughter in the UK, once or twice a year, she has "special" hair and the products are often not available in UK, or are very expensive ) As for being classed as a medicine, probably but I am not sure.
  12. I have accounts with Nationwide UK for years. In the past if I had a query I would go to their website, login with a card reader and then click on "Contact us" where one was able to ask their question in a simple manner and a very quick reply from the bank. Recently the bank decided to "Make it easier" to "Contact us" by adding "More options" which ultimately go to "More options" and so on. I have a simple question about money transfer from UK to Thailand which a year ago the bank answered simply, now I have trolled through all the "Options" and can find no way to "Contact us" other than by phone. Anyone had the same problem and were they able to get a reply other than by phone ?
  13. If you are married the dog may be at an age where bonding is becoming important. Perhaps if your dog ( assuming dog means male ) is seeing your wife as the master and you, being male, are a threat. Obviously you should have had medical treatment however severe the bites were, especially regarding infection and rabies etc. The dog needs to be fully vaccinated at all times, inc for heart worm.
  14. The Central Khon Kaen was very well organised for the first 2 jabs I had, the KICE one looks awful.
  15. I have same package as you. Only use for phone alternative on laptop ( LINE and Whatsapp ) and general use. Around 8 - 9pm, regular as clockwork when trying to watch a movie speeds drop and it keeps buffering. This is especially true of movie sites with Thai subs but also affects other sites. If I change browsers this sometimes helps. I try to download earlier in the day, where such sites allow, and save to watch when I want to.
  16. I thought one reason they can't / won/t give a certificate was because some passport numbers such as mine only have 9 digits. They printed a very long 13 digit number as my ID, the only common number is 46 being my year of birth.
  17. The vaccination centre at Central Khon Kaen gave one for both the 1st and 2nd vaccination. What do people do for proof especially if they don't have a Smart phone for QR code ? A paper proof should be mandatory.
  18. OP Thanks "cooked" for your comments. My local ( Banphai - Khon Kaen ) govt office decide to offer a choice of vaccines so I ended having Moderna. Only problem is is that they don't provide a document to say you have had the vaccine, have to go to a hospital in KK to get document. Not sure if Central in KK offered Moderna as it would have saved me time and a crowded waiting area. At least it was free, not sure if the hospital will charge for a document !
  19. Had Sino as first. Astra as second, now 3 months later being offered Pfizer as 3rd vaccine in Khon Kaen. Sino no effects, Astra very bad response ( yes I know it is getting my own immune system to start working. Aged 75. Any one had Pfzier as 3rd vaccine ?
  20. Khon Kaen Immigration has gone back to using old copies of passports for notifying next 90 day report. This happened last year too but stopped for some months. One time I had a full copy of an Americans main passport page. I always strike thru copies of my passport page at Immigration.
  21. OP - I also sometimes have video downloads that are in reverse - any help please
