  1. Thanks a lot for the report. Went to Savannakhet already but will try HCMC next year. If they want copy of the all bank book pages then its same like in Savannakhet. Just to be clear. Did you season the money in the bank account for some months or just deposited before you applied ? Someone reported that they asked for 6 month bank statement with 400 k balance. HCMC is more fun :)
  2. Money doesnt have to be in Thai bank account. But this can change anytime They will issue you single entry without the bank statement. I think they prefer the Thai bank accounts because they are more credible ? Anyone can fake a foreign bank statement. Its not that difficult. I read some stories that they randomly ask people to show them the foreign banking app to match random transactions to see if they are correct. Im not sure about the Laos visa question. It doesnt make any sense for me.
  3. I think its just because they want to have complete history. Not sure for what though :)
  4. I didnt marry in Thailand so I show my original marriage certificate (with translation) from my country and give them signed copies. I give them also copy of Kor Ror 22 to be precise but that is included in the marriage certifacte translation.
  5. Hi everyone, I went to Savannakhet 2 days ago to apply for multiple non-o visa based on marriage. Arrived at embassy at 8:20 am. The line is not crazy long as what it used to be. Maybe like 30 people on Wednesday and 40 on Thursday. It looks like that after new requirements (400k THB) not many people go there. I was out of embassy at 9:10 am. Very fast compared to previous years. Here is what they wanted from me: Filled out visa application 2 passport photos Passport Signed copy of my passport Signed copy of wife´s passport Signed copy of wife´s ID card Signed copy of wife´s Tabien Baan Signed copy of Marriage certificate. They wanted to see the original as well. Signed copy of Laos visa (entry stamp and visa sticker) Signed copies of all pages from my bank book with 400k deposited in the account. No need to season the money. I deposited 400 k into my Thai bank account 3 days before applying. They also wanted to see the orginal bank book. 5000 THB for multiple entry Staff was friendly and didnt ask any questions. I prepared also bank statements and certificate from bank but they were not interested in that. Hope it will help some of you guys
  6. I still have one valid non-o visa in old passport that experes in 3 weeks. That means if I apply for a new one I will have two valid visas in 1 passport
  7. Just to be sure. Its possible to hold two valid thai non-o visas in the same passport ?
  8. @Daithi85 Do you have some info if they could apply ? I have the same problem right now.
  9. Thanks for the info. First time I heard about this. Do you have any idea if I can still apply with the new passport ? Or in case I have to apply with the old one, can I have two valid visas at the same time in one passport ?
  10. Hello everyone, Im in Savannakhet right now. Going to apply for a non-o visa tomorrow. I have everything prepared but I have a question. I have 2 passports and they have different numbers (both are Czech passports though). My initial thought was that I will exit Thailand with my old passport because my old non-o visa expires in 3 weeks and passport is also almost full (3 pages left). Then I would enter Laos with new passport that is empty (make visa on arrival). Well I was wrong, the immigration officer forced me to enter Laos on my old passport. He said I cannot change passport. Well, that is wrong because I did it in past many times and no problem in other countries. My question is, can still apply for Thai visa tomorrow in the embassy with my new passport or I have to apply with old one ? Because the Laos stamp is in the old one. Thank you for helping me.
  11. OP in the comments confirmed that he used 3 months Thai bank account statements. Not overseas. Well I dont know what to do now 😄 If true then money needs to be seasoned ? @WebGuy can you please confirm that you got Non-O multi with only bank book copies ? Thank you.
  12. Another report from Facebook group says that you need to season the money for 3 months. Not sure if this is in case of overseas account or Thai one. Waiting for answer.
  13. Thank you so much for the update. Please let us know tomorrow if ou got multi or no. I will go there next week. Did you gave her copies of every page in bank book ?
  14. Thats what I was thinking as well 🙂 BUT They do not offer Multiple entry Non-O based on marriage in many EU countries anymore. My embassy started providing only single entry. There is whole another thread about it. some new rules are in place.
  15. Sorry to bother you but your wife wrote you a letter that she will sponsor your stay in Thailand ? Did you provide her bank statements ? Im looking now into this option now as well. Maybe that you would be even easier for me.
  16. Hmmm this makes me wondering. Would they accept in HCMC or Savannakhet if my wife write me a sponsorship letter and provide statements to them ?
  17. Can you please provide us with answer after they reply you ? I think I will go to Savannakhet next week to apply for multi non-o based on marriage before I go back to EU. Cannot apply back home in EU and HCMC seems to require 6 months bank statement which basically means that they need the funds to be seasoned. I will prepare bank statement with 400k balance and certificate from bank but the funds has not been seasoned. If they require the funds to be seasoned then I dont know what Im going to do. Getting a single entry is useless because in January I will be in Thailand for 4 days only before going on holiday. I would waste a visa for 4 day stay.
  18. Honestly, I do not think its an error. In Prague they also updated all the requirements information documents and for Non-O Family member visa they state now only - SINGLE ENTRY But for Non-O Contestant or a witness for the judicial process they still have multiple entries option. I wrote them email, lets see what they will answer.
  19. I can confirm that Multi Non-O visa option is not available in Prague embassy as well now. I was thinking to apply there but its gone. I remember back in September when I did visa for my parents it was still there.
  20. Thanks for the answer @BritTim. HCMC will be good choice probably . I just came from Colombo 2 days ago 😄 Too bad that I read Savannakhet update regarding 400k just yesterday. I would try to apply in Colombo. I only applied for single non-o in my home embassy (Prague) in 2021. Maybe I could try again as well for multiple entry. Any ideas about the seasoning of funds in bank account ?
  21. Hello everyone, Im currently now on Non-O multiple entry visa that expires on 14.12.2023. Im also flying back to EU in few weeks for 2 months so I was thinking maybe its perfect time for another visa trip. I did previously Multi No-O in HCMC (2019) and in Savannakhet (2022). Both places didnt required 400 k before but now they do. Honestly, multi Non-O based on marriage was the best option for me because of my work schedule and Im too lazy to apply for 1 year extension. Im here usually 2-3 months max and then go back to work for another 2-3 months. Since Savannaket now requires 400 k proof of funds Im looking into some other places to visit. My finance questions are: Does the money in Thai bank account has to be seasoned for few months ? I dont keep a lot of money here. Roughly I would say around 30-40 k per month and when Im not in Thailand there is usually under 10 k balance just in case of some bank fees. I can transfer 400 k from overseas if its necessary this week. Do I need also some letter from the Thai bank guaranteeing the balance or just bank statement is enough ? Another question is: Any other places to apply for Non-O with recent reports ? I tried searching some but mostly what I got is Savannakhet and HCMC. It would be great to visit some new city. Thank you for your answers.
  22. Nope but we can have E-visa within 2-3 days so no issues there. I believe you have the same right ?
  23. Ok I think we will go with easier option then ???? I honestly believe that there shouldnt be any issues because they stay in Thailand only during winter. Sometimes 1 month, sometimes 2 months every year. Last year it was 3 months because of the 45 day visa exemption. But rest of the year they are back in Europe. This year my father got very excited and decided to stay 4 months. Yeah, we are planning on visiting some other country together. Thinking about Vietnam. On the way back to BKK me and my wife will be there to help them in immigration in case of any questions ???? Thanks a lot for the advice.
  24. I have Non-O multiple entry based on marriage. I dont have 1 year extension though.
