  1. Yes remove Assad just like you guys removed Saddam and believe this will create stability

    What's the plan after ?

Give them voting slips for trump and Clinton and let them participate in a good old American tradition of democracy and freedom and have a 4th of July BBQ ...heck invite the 2016 NBA champions there for a game in the desert

Hope there will never be another tribal war because the folks can all now vote and all happy smile.png

    Woohoo ....areeghhhhhh

    Naive American Foreign Policy ...

" we don't have any plan" .... forgot who said that.

  2. WC in Russia? I thought after the Winter olympic corruption, followed shortly by images of Putins Cossacks literally horse-whipping Gays in the streets, various aggressions, and a passenger airliner blown shot down with no accountability we had seen the last of major international sport events gifted to Russia.

a passenger airliner was blown by Putin?

  3. I am now wondering how on earth Russia is going to host the world cup in 2018, who in their right mind is going to travel there, time for a rethink

This is an extremely important point and I hope FIFA will seriously reconsider holding the World Cup in Moscow. It is only a short two years away so they must act soon.

The 150-200 Russian hooligans are only a small drop in the bucket of what awaits football fans from all over the world when they arrive in Moscow.

Can the safety of fans be reasonably expected? Certainly not.

A new emblem for the current championship in France

  4. Efforts are underway to explain to expats the holy month and other aspects of local life.

Why should expats have to care less about their religious superstitions and local custom?

They couldn't careless about ours, all expats have to do it to respect the locals and that's that. Muslims are all about conversion that's all.

Also as the locals are out numbered by expats, it should be the locals that take more interest in the culture of the west.

I guess that you are one of those people that start complaining that you can't buy your daily beer on some Buddhist holidays here in Thailand too.

If you are an expat living outside your own country then you need to learn about the local culture and customs otherwise you are just on an extended holiday. How long have you been in Thailand? What have you seen beside Pattaya or Pukhet? I have visited over 30 of Thailand's provinces (NOT including Chonburi and Phuket). I'm have become a part of the local community and take part in social events. I have Thai friends in all stages of the social ladder all the way from the poor rice farmers to people in the highest parts of the Thai government, the only way to get friends like that is to adopt to the culture and customs of the country.

People from the West like to lecture everyone in the world incuding each other.

  5. Well at least there will a bunch of medals up for grabs for other lesser athletes that wouldn't have won otherwise.

Banning countries from the Olympics feels like the cold war again, remember that full participation Olympics before just wasn't the same.

Not endorsing doping but such a blanket ban seems more likely political. And so it goes on....

Unfortunately it looks like WWIII is around the corner....

  6. What an embarrassment this guy is. French handling of the situation in this tournament has been incompetent, but they were right this time. Perps were behaving badly again last night. Get your people in order, Lavrov, instead of spitting the dummy and making yourself look silly. The Russians will be kicked out soon, and rightly so. If the World Cup isn't taken off them, expect some teams will boycott it. It is a sham anyway.

This ''guy'' can be anything but embarassment.

  7. So those pesky Russki's kicked the arse's of some Brit.'s.......and this is only football......if there is a wider conflict i.e.war, they will do more than that, if the braindead honchos at NATO decide to invade Russia, expect a lot more Russian violence.

Hyped up bullies. Remember the Russian military, with all their supposed wonderful weapons and super duper special forces getting their <deleted> kicked in Afghanistan?

They are willing to throw, and sacrifice manpower (and women) and see nothing wrong with "cannon fodder". Saddam's guard found out just how good Russian tanks were.

Here we have a large group of violent thugs, intent on violence, prepared and organized for it, as Russian fans often are, attacking England supporters who were in the majority there to watch the match.

Russian armed forces got their <deleted> kicked by the Japanese early last century, then by the Germans and wouldn't have turned that round without substantial help from the Allies and willingness to sacrifice millions of their own, and then by the Mjua'hadeen, Like all bullies, they're great at dishing it out but don't like it when someone fights back.

Putin is a typical bully boy and happy to dish it out but whines like a piglet when on the receiving end. History shows you can't trust Russia and NATO needs, and will, beef up again.

stinking bowl of anti-Russian salad, everything what was in the fridge: Japanese early in the century, Germans, America, Putin, Afghanistan,

Next time you will feel the need to bash some ruskies, don't forget Chinghiz Khan, Napoleon, Finland, Poland, Georgia, Chechnya, drunken bears, balalaika, caviar, Gagarin, sputnik, Kalashnikov, Sharapova. This salad would be nice to wash down with a bottle of STOLICHZHCHNAYA (Stoli...)

  8. Why the hell any fan do this on the first place.

Stupidity... Or maybe bunch of ultras that wanted to fulful their role at least at something.

Really, all this clash thing is very stupid and pointless. What a disgrace, especially when RU have this critical media coverage. Why now?... Who gain anything from this? Nobody but their ego... What the hell...

Maybe they were provoked, maybe they started it, maybe all participants were insulting each other right after the game, but all this wasn't needed at all. I'll never understand this football fans fights. There is no logical/healthy reason to do all this...

P.S. It's Croatian fans on the pic

P.P.S. Watched video on a previous post... Imbeciles...

Why the hell any ultra nationalists act this way... For what... They must be proud of themselves, idiots...

Agree. I read that English fans were provoking Russians during whole game shouting insults towards Putin and Sharapova. Might be it was the reason they got mad and took on English after the game. But I agree this behaviour is total stupidity.

  9. Russian government tells hooligans they are proud of them and to carry on as normal

I don't see anything terrible about fans fighting. Quite the opposite, the guys did well. Keep it up!"

Igor Lebedev, nationalist MP and executive member of Russian Football Union

Member of parliament is not a member of government. That was Mr Lebedev's private opinion. It has nothing to do with the government.

Meantime the Russian minister of sport Mr Mutko (a member of government) condemned Russian fans behaviour in France.

  10. If you can't produce any evidence, your accusations mean nothing. I can say that Martians are buying oil in Syria with the same results. Syrian people have to decide themselves who will be their next president. If Assad has lost credibility, fine, run elections and let people decide. But first and foremost the Turk-Syrian border has to be shut and war has to be stopped.

To stop the war, all foreign powers not related with that area need to leave asap first especially russia.

And check this link for the russian finger regarding oil bought from ISIS. US Treasury ban:

If I offer you some RT news or Sputnik news to read, your reaction will be quite predictable.

  12. Jesus,

is there any quality here these days or has there ever been any?

I bought a Wahl Pro Hair clipper set from Lazada about 3 months back, I always trusted Wahl.

The first set of clippers I got was a set of Wahl Home, that was back when I was 21, I took them all around the world, they cut my hair perfectly for 26 YEARS! only a year ago did the blades give out, the motor still runs. Never a fault never a problem.

So, I buy a set of Wahl Pro from Lazada, 2500 Baht or so, nice clippers, look good, cut the hair great initially.

Keep them oiled, keep them clean.

So today I get that itchy scratchy feeling when the sideboards start curling that tell me I need a trim.

Pull out the Wahl, switch it on and the bloody blades are seized together with rust!!!

What the hell? Are these second rate junk blades supplied to Asia? My previous clipper never had rust in over 20 years!

What is it with these companies that they seem to think selling second rate crap in Asia is OK?

    High humidity?

  13. My thoughts and prayers are with the families of the victims #PrayforOrlando

It's a nice sentiment but I'm not sure it's such a good idea to inject religion into a recent terrorism event inspired by ... religion.

Jingthing, if religion is unacceptable thing for a gay, like you have just mentioned, what should be said if a gay dies?
