This is akin to walking into Tukcom Pattaya buying a cheap phone or cheap accessories and expect any kind of warranty whatsoever.
As soon as you've parted with your money, the very minute you walk away from the booth, you now are of ZERO interest whatsoever to the Thais in general.
Except by Thai consumer law you are allowed to return something within 7 days -and funny cos I have never had any real issues with receiving refunds on faulty goods here

This place is like boomer central sometimes. So we have a story to recall the great achievement done in rescuing these kids and their coach. And what do we get:
First post, a meaningless rant about 'health and safety' for a photo shoot. Then followed by people saying the Thai Navy Seals were a bit useless and didn't know what they were doing.
Of course these keyboard experts already know everything about cave diving. Let's forget that cave diving is a very specialist skill, that the Navy Seal divers put in countless days of hard dangerous work, listened to advice and learned, and were an important part of the whole team. Let's also not forget that one of them died!
I don't know what it is about this place sometimes.

I agree in principal - particularly about the number of PP copies I have lodged at Immigration. However I think the OP is concerned about police ramifications. I am driving around with a DL showing my old address and old PP number. A hungry cop may ask expensive questions. I am anxious to rectify this but Pattaya DLC is a nightmare at the best of times.
I don't think there is a law saying they should be the same. I had an accident this year and had to get a police report, deal with insurance etc. All of it was done with my old PP number on my licence, and no issues.

Horses learn tricks, dogs learn tricks, birds learn tricks, and we don't say that's wrong.
Maybe you should look up how they teach elephants to do tricks, they are not like dogs!

It's good if you can afford it or have good insurance, if not then you are pretty much screwed.
I spent the night in a provincial hospital before being transferred to a a private Bangkok one. At the provincial hospital, i was told I would have to wait a week for the operation to happen, and would be stuck in a open communal ward with only 2 nurses for the whole, very big ward. I was lucky I had insurance to get transferred.

Hua Hin has always been seen as a getaway place for Bangkok people, nothing new.

Try being in Thailand and get yourself a B visa. These are obtainable out of country only.
I changed from a Non-ED to get a work permit. Immigration changed the extension to say I was being employed, and then we got the work permit on that.
I know others who have done this because of covid and not being able to leave the country. All had job offers and the proper documentation.
Also, if you are on a tourist visa, that can be changed in country.

If I am not mistaken in TH one is allowed to have sex pics on one's phone.
Maybe, all depends on the mood of the officer, and if he wants someone to pay for dinner that night ????

Indeed. Tired of the "anti-vax" label. People who are a bit dubious of a vaccine technology that failed to garner FDA approval for 15 years, but it suddenly "safe", are simply being prudent. I have had many "traditional" vaccines in my life, but this new technology is something for which I have a "wait and see" approach. Maybe those blindly lining up for the vaccines should be labeled "anti-critical-thinkers".
What new technology are you talking about? And this is problem with this kind of debate, one side you have people who know what they are talking about, the other you have either the misinformed, the stupid or the griffters.
Like the anti-vax movement, started by a 'doctor' who it turns out was flogging his own remedy to replace the MMR vaccines.... funny that

Quiet a stretch for what was implied , wouldn't you say?
Not really, you are implying for extrajudicial killing, are you not? So, what do you think will happen if that becomes more accepted?

You mean the drug dealer who won't be pushing any more drugs..
So, if you are ever accused of something, before your trial the cops can murder you?

I could well be wrong, I have been once before, but to make broad brush statements without much more than anecdotal evidence seems flimsy.
So, basically you are saying let's ignore the numerous reports by Human Rights Watch and other organizations, news reports on what happened during the war on drugs, academic studies etc, etc, and boil it down to 'I am only go to go by the evidence of two cases I heard about on TVF'... well done ????

If you are vegetarian or vegan, stick to the literally thousands of very tasty vegetable and fruit options. Why would a person who eschews (even abhors) cooked meat want to eat anything that actually resembles the texture, taste and even shape of a meat dish? I just don't get it.
It ain't rocket science is it, some people like the taste and texture but don't want to kill animals for that. Really isn't hard to figure out

Used to a big thing in the UK, with allotments. rented out cheaply by the local councils. It was in decline due to greedy property developers taking over a lot of the land, but there are plans to make more land available.
Great if they can do more of it here.

Lot's of cars passing the accident site and not 1 car stops to see if somebody needs help.
TITHow do you know nobody stopped? That accident was behind so someone could have already stopped, and the dashcam car literally just came to a halt. I am sure someone stopped they always do (TIT),. have had accidents here and had people come to help really quickly. Also, if all the cars stop, how is that going to help?

Sad situation of course, but getting infected with this virus is preventable if you take measures. I admit am not much of a humanitarian when it comes to people as we have ourselves infected the whole planet with our unregulated population growth, then we are supposed to feel bad because people are starving and governments do not have the resources to take care of everyone.
Yes, in my experience all governments are "greedy" and have privilege as their money is not earned, it is given by the taxpayers unwillingly at times for work that no one has to account for as well.
No incentives to work hard and complete "projects" when your wages are paid by others and the money is there on payday whether you performed or not.
You are not going to mention the private healthcare system? People who have to work on the frontlines so upping their risks of exposure, cos they are basically poor and have no other choices. But yeah, let's go on some 'personal responsibility' rant
