Lot's of cars passing the accident site and not 1 car stops to see if somebody needs help.
TITHow do you know nobody stopped? That accident was behind so someone could have already stopped, and the dashcam car literally just came to a halt. I am sure someone stopped they always do (TIT),. have had accidents here and had people come to help really quickly. Also, if all the cars stop, how is that going to help?

Sad situation of course, but getting infected with this virus is preventable if you take measures. I admit am not much of a humanitarian when it comes to people as we have ourselves infected the whole planet with our unregulated population growth, then we are supposed to feel bad because people are starving and governments do not have the resources to take care of everyone.
Yes, in my experience all governments are "greedy" and have privilege as their money is not earned, it is given by the taxpayers unwillingly at times for work that no one has to account for as well.
No incentives to work hard and complete "projects" when your wages are paid by others and the money is there on payday whether you performed or not.
You are not going to mention the private healthcare system? People who have to work on the frontlines so upping their risks of exposure, cos they are basically poor and have no other choices. But yeah, let's go on some 'personal responsibility' rant

With cat-like agility, they manage to blame us for their coral reef loss.
The mental gymnastics here to blame foreigners for their coral reef damage is absolutely sensational. Simone was like, "Dang, I can't believe they even invented that move!"
If only there was an Olympic sport for this kind talent.
Speaking of which, how many gold medals were won for ping pong and Formula 1 driving? They must have taken a few golds for "drag" racing.
Where does it say they are blaming only foreigners for this? You think tourists in Thailand are only foreigners?

Every doctor in the world strongly advises wearing a good high factor sunscreen when sun bathing especially so in tropical areas where the UV radiation is much stronger. Not wearing sunscreen is by far the biggest cause of skin cancer and that is a hard FACT that we should all be aware of!!! What are they thinking here, i find this incredibly crass??? Not only that but they simply state national parks, well once again that seems very odd and ill thought out as many such parks are nowhere near the ocean as many have pointed out. So all in all a pointless, crazy and dangerous prohibition.
ehhh sunscreen is not banned, just certain brands with certain chemicals.... it ain't rocket science, mate

It’s the chemicals in some sunscreens that damage reefs. There are reef friendly sunscreens available that do not contain those chemicals.
come on now, you are letting facts and logic get in the way of the emotional knee jerks from most TVF posters ????

Well .... Ba Ba Black sheep have you any wool .... lol
so who exactly were these ' Australian expats ' that were offended ?
You do know the story about Ba Ba Black Sheep being banned was made up and is utter nonsense.
Basically a story to generate fake outrage by people who moan about others getting outraged.... kind of like this :)

Here's the map to how failed government immigration policies look. Races refuse to live with each other and merely tolerate each others existence.
Thank God Thailand and Asia isn't stupid enough to trial this insane experiment in their countries.

You lot don't see the utter irony of posting this kind of stuff while being an immigrant?
Ahh but don't tell me, you are an expat, right? Cos the right colour? ????

So you're anti free speech when people point out the obvious about wokes lol
nah, cos woke isn't even a thing, and to be honest if you use it unironically then you, how can I put this in a polite pc way, are a few sandwiches short of a picnic ????

What I find funny, these people who whine about 'woke' and 'cancel culture', you do realize that people being able to talk about issues is what freedom of speech is all about.
And 'woke', just repackaged 'PC gone mad' from the right, because it is all they have to talk about, can't talk policies anymore, just this culture war bs. And 'cancel culture', you mean you get called out on your dumb views, hardly being cancelled is it? I remember in the 80s when the right and evangelicals were trying to ban everything from D&D and metal music.

If you borrow 1000 Baht you would only receive between 300 and 420 Baht - but you have to pay back 1000.
If you don't pay it back in time (the 1000), you will get interest on that 1000.
That is how I read it...

That would be my next question, can you switch from a non-ED to a covid exemption?
And can this then be exchanged for a Non-B in Bangkok once I get the uni documents through?
-
Is it possible to get a new tourist visa in Bangkok at the moment because of covid? I would normally go to Lao and get on there. I am a UK citizen.
I am just graduating from my uni course, waiting for my last grade and will have to cancel my ED visa (immigration told me this). While I wait for the degree and transcript documents (around 2 months) I will have to go on a tourist visa before going onto a Non-B and work permit. And before you ask, yes I can get confirmation of graduating from the uni, but that can take up to a month to get, so I will still need a visa till then. Also, if I stay on the ED visa, I could get stung for overstay if I don't cancel as soon as I finish the courses - someone from my uni already had an overstay fine because of this.

But the reason behind his departure worries me. All you have to do if you don't like what a commentator says about you or your company is to sue his network for $$ billions, and poof. He goes away.
That's a scary precedent for journalism and the 4th Estate. Even if you don't agree with the guy.
The dude knowing lied, repeatedly, even after being told what he was saying was utter bs,
That is not journalism.

What sort of punishment did you have in mind for people with a different opinion then you Rob.....
and here is the problem in a nutshell. One one side you have people dealing with facts and on the other you have people peddling disinformation and utter nonsense. Yet, you think it is just about a difference of opinion.
What we need is more education on critical thinking, science and how to process news

Farming together: A farmer in Phetchaburi offers a farm-sharing experience to casual gardeners

Used to a big thing in the UK, with allotments. rented out cheaply by the local councils. It was in decline due to greedy property developers taking over a lot of the land, but there are plans to make more land available.
Great if they can do more of it here.
