The Golden Rule: Treat others how you want to be treated
Yes, even if mostly it doesn't work. You can only teach by example.

I use the same, I find them quicker than most. Good exchange rate and a fee that is very reasonable.

What a jerk....how about other people's safety??
Go,HOME!!
"We don't want them", we have these turds everywhere in here, I think it's because the Australian government have "mamil" riders in their ranks that want to be protected EG: they just past a law that requires that a registered vehicle that the road was built for has to give 1.5 metre clearance from them or be fined. It doesn't matter that they behave like this wakker.

Strikes me as insane in these heady days of elevated rights for minorities, that Minor Attracted Persons are still persecuted. In spite of all the lobbying and attempts throughout the western world to legitimize and respect people desires for sexual activity with children - it is tolerated mainly in liberal Afghanistan(google Bacha Bazi). Perhaps a HRC double bill will give enough time to roll this out properly - after all every other perverted act has gone from illegal status, to tolerated, to legal, to being rammed down our throats at every opportunity and positive discrimination in favor of perverts.
Mate first off I can't imagine western society condoning the sexual exploitation of minors. In my mind a minor is a person who cannot form an informed decision legally. In my country (Australia) for the sake of sexual activities that is 16yrs anything under that is considered rape. I think some states it is 17-8.
I may be reading blog incorrectly but I think you write in favour of Aged people seeking out children for sexual gratification or marriage. If that is your view I think your a bit of a whack job.
Children are protected for a very good reason.. "They are children" and need to grow into nurtured positive citizens.
You list Afghanistan as a source of moderation, yet parts of this country supports an condones sharia law and in part is controlled by the Taliban " You know the people the world describes as terrorist"
Perhaps if you really believe what you are writing you should pick up stumps and move to sunnyside Afghanistan, hopefully the locals will give you a warm welcome!!

If I were there now I would go into that shop, get the salesman to show me the in's n out of several models of phones making sure I seem very interested. then after a while I would look around n say 'ohh I think I have heard something about this shop', look into my phone n bring up this blog n tell them I couldn't possibly buy from them until they had sorted out their bad reputation.

One day people will get over religious beliefs, until then this senseless violence will continue.
No they won't , they are just too stupid.
You could put it on your bucket list but I wouldn't hold my breathe.
Violence in religion has nothing to do with a belief in a god. just self satisfying lust to hurt others!

krey---where did you grow up? What country? You seem to have a lack of basic legal knowledge that is acquired by anyone living in the Occident.
Loaning your motorbike out to ANYONE is a bad idea. Consider it "gone."
If you want to wreck your friendship with your buddy---go ahead, loan him your bike. Tyres and repairs are needed----why should your friend IMPROVE YOUR PROPERTY? Dings and smash-ups are a given. Bike gets stolen---do you really think that your buddy will head to soi 9 and process a stolen property report?
You got it---your bike is stolen by a Tai while under the aegis of your buddy---someone is injured. Yes...your insurance company is liable.
Yes---if your friend causes serious bodily injury, yes---during the DISCOVERY phase, a title search is undertaken to ascertain legal ownership. They are searching for deep pockets to PAY for it all and this would be YOU.
You have two big choices facing you: 1) GIVE your motorbike to your friend. Insist on a signed and notarized bill of sale, even if you sell your motorbike for 100b. BILL OF SALE! Let him rego the bike in his name and get his own insurance.
Or---2) Forget the whole idea. Let your friend buy or rent a motorbike.
Keep us all posted as to your legal adventures! We all love a good story!
Actually insurance is dependent in where you come from.. For example where I come from AU.. The responsibility is to the driver of the vehicle, my only resposibilty would be to know if he had a valid license or not and even that is a grey area as I cannot enquire the DMV about anothers license. But insurance on a vehicle here will extend to additional drivers so long as they have my permission to drive. That way if someone steals it and crashes the insurer will cover for my damage but not that of the thief.
The US on the other hand have a completely different idea on insurance hence why I say it depends on where you are.. I would suggest the OP check to see what his liability is.

If they changed it to 40baht for all I would probably go easily, I am a firm believer in equality for all.. Same goes for the parks and entertainment venues. In my country it's the same price no matter where you are from.

Section 1490.

Both of these descriptions should answer your question

Good travel insurance, don't leave home without it!!

Sometimes as an owner you may not know if your dog would do what has happened here. if it was my dog, I would have put it down immediately. I wouldn't haggle about the damage on the child either. I would have taken her to the hospital myself.
150k thb just won't cut it.

Why don't you just take some money out on your credit card taking enough to for the next couple of months in repayment. then when you get your position you can square up against the card. If it doesn't work out sell the Spitfire for what it's worth

Good God, it's less than one cent.
Get a grip, or go home.
it has nothing to do with the amount involved.
I bet you you have never started a business from absolute scratch.
if you did you wouldn't last five minutes with that kind of attitude
Are you joking, it's less than one cent probably once a day.
And yes I have started a business from absolute scratch, it made me realise to concentrate on important things that make me money, not worry about 1 cents.
I live in a 20 million Baht house, so I guess I did ok. Pics are in the house section of the real estate section if you want to have a look.
Obviously if you are worried about 1 cents you aren't going too well.
Irrespective as to how you feel about small amounts the fact is it is your money and it should be your decision if you are going to pay more. I often tell cashiers to keep the change as I don't like to carry too much coin.
Ohh, I don't live in a 20M house. I never think about where I live as having a monetary value. Because I have to live somewhere.
Have a great day fellas

Hmm, third attempt at suicide. He is not very good at it.
Better he stop the suicide thing and perhaps get on with living life.

Simple facts, pickup, light trucks etc. Not really designed as people movers. And anyone who thinks it is safer to be in one is wrong. More weight also equals more inertia. I have seen the result of many a caravan traveller in AU who thought that big vehicle means safe and had 100% fatality in the vehicle with poor results for whom the vehicle hit.
Rule of thumb should always be, buy your vehicle for what you intend to use it for. There are many vehicles that rate well in safety for a price equal or less than a truck.
I say truck because essentially that is what they are and the total cost of ownership over the life of vehicle is far greater than that of a passenger vehicle.
-
Hmm depends on the amount.
You can transfer via Paypal, Rates usually aren't that good but if you consider SWIFT or WU fees it may be a solution.
You could also transfer the whole amount assuming the land of smiles doesn't have a heart attack, then they transfer what the daily or monthly balance their country allows and you can get on with your own life.

Probably caught him using the 'Find my Device' feature in most smart phones

I think if I made the mistake of having one or more of these items in my possession. I would have no problem with it being given to someone who could use it. I don't think it's right to take financial advantage of the traveller
I agree that they should be donated to charity.

Cigarettes in AU are a little more than $25 per packet = 630THB now thats a grab at your arse for tax.
I don't smoke but think if a government believes that it so bad, then ban it.

Any data on any memory device is recoverable to some extent.
Computers with mechanical and SSD drives can be overwritten to damage any existing data upon them.. Australian Military remove and destroy any drive used in a secure facility prior to disposing of the device. This is the most secure method.
Smartphones: Most have the ability of accepting a memory card and in most cases will automatically move data like pictures etc to them some do not.
If the device has a memory card remove and keep it.
You can do a hard reset and restore the phone to default settings this will wipe the info from the device but can be restored by someone with skills. if you want to sell the phone and make sure all data is not retrievable then you will need to procure either an app or 3rd party software that will permanently damage the existing overwritten data so that it can no longer be recovered.
If you are unsure when you sell your phone change your banking passwords to prevent the problem

Yes there are a few countries that insist on an additional security screening check of carry-on luggage at the departure gate for all flights to that country. All flights to Australia perform this check. So if you are transiting through an airport onward to Australia all your duty free liquids over 100ml will be confiscated. If the Bangkok duty free sales assistant is thoughtful they might tell you this or refuse to sell your the liquor. I don't see this as a scam.
Duty free this year delivered at the gate, my flight was direct to Australia from BKK
-
Hi guys, been watching for a while but Im new here.. The OP by all accounts has been scammed. Says he purchased his items from duty free in BKK. before flights to Melbourne.
As per the advice given in this document http://travelsecure....utyfree_to.aspx
It clearly says that you can only have fluids of up to 100ml in a bag etc and duty free items collected at the gate.. If the OP had purchased items in Hanoi and tried to board this plane the goods would be taken from him then. But any duty free item collected at the gate is OK.

Yep the only way to go.. Transfer wise not only a very competitive rate but reasonable fees too. When I did my first transfers ANZ were having a big feed on my bank account in AU. $30 just for arranging a swift transfer. Then a piss weak rate in the bargain.
