I was travelling in a Gulf Air flight to Bangkok when I heard a bit of a commotion behind me 

there was a woman with a Obese guy sitting next to her  over flowing in to her seat she asked the flight attendant  to sort it out she had paid for her full seat

In the end they moved the guy to Business class replacing him with a guy from there

Have to agree with the woman you pay for a seat  all of it

on the return flight 3 weeks later who comes waddling down the aisle

luckily he passed me by so no doubt some one else had the pleasure of his company  Not  

we are still in the European Union wait until we do leave 

then you will see a Fall in the pound plus the loss of jobs but its what the Majority of people voted for

its his wife who gets the money as she owns the business

plus the employing of the school kids in the holiday period  helps contributing towards the local Community

Hindsight is a wonderful thing but surely the hospital involved should have had a doctor there or on call to make the decision  on her moving to a other hospital or not 

would have thought the mother was in shock and suffering pain so not really capable of making the  decision herself 

she is not the first or will be the last we will be reading about in the future happens in  places where drink involved bars night clubs  ect 

when  one cannot control their drinking  habits it could leave them open to abuse 

I am lost for words what can one say a other quality tourist to Thailand 

its pretty simple when you go shopping in a Mall Mart or  7/11

just tell the Cashier  you don't want to many  plastic bags  where one will do or   you have your own 

save on the use of plastic  why worry what others do 

you will feel better knowing you are doing your bit for the Environment 

They need to implement the Non smoking laws in Restaurants and Pubs 

where its not been heeded stiffer fines imposed

if you stay Legal and do the proper paperwork in the time scales should have  no problems  appreciate  there will some hassle days ie long  queues waiting times go with the flow ect 

if you cant take the heat get out of the kitchen comes to mind

the African guys claiming to be footballers with false paperwork   deserve the boot and kicked out

 getting my yearly retirement visa using the British Embassy Pension letter

was advised by the immigration lady to use the Bank option as married to a Thai  of the monthly transfer of 40,000 Baht for next Non O next year

now in process of getting  organized 

looks like the bank options are now what's required 

The police need to take a lead in this  and  collar the people involved and chain them up 

she is no doubt pissed off being fined 2000 baht but relieved its over  

when I was there two weeks ago for my retirement visa was asked the same draw a map of the location of my Condo ect 

Drew  the main road plus the  Soi  and location of Condo name  floor and room number 

took about 5 minutes  accepted no problem 

will print a better version off  next visit in a years time
