But was your friend's Will written under English Law? If so, that typically has a survivorship clause where you must outlive him by a certain amount (around a month) to inherit the funds from the estate. This also raises the question of if it will be recognised by the Thai courts.

 

There's not much you can do now but sit and wait.

My friend a UK citizen died in Thailand last month, he left me some money in his will which is now going through the probate process in Thailand via a solicitor in court.

I also am a UK national, I fear that i also am on my last knockings and may never get to see my friends wishes regarding him giving me Thai Baht via his will.

Should i die will my Thai wife get the money that i was due ? i hope this to be the case ..

I purchased a year long Tune protect covid and health insurance in the begining of July 2021 .. I have noticed a bleeding spot on my forehead which ive had for approximately 3 months, i thought it may have been an insect bite initially. Myself and my thai wife have both tried contacting them by email and then phone but to no avail , my wife did speak to them about reading an email i sent them,asking if the insurance covers me to have a biopsy on said spot, they said they would email me, but have not.. Now when we phone they do not answer , ive tried to hide my tel number,but thailand does not allow this service..anybody else had this problem with this company thanks Paul

KLM seem to be the cheapest ,can someone please confirm that with a reentry permit and a non imm o retirement ext ,that i only need to buy a one way ticket ? Thanks.. as when i try to ask KLM they do not give a clear answer ..sorry for asking again,but this whole thing is expensive

On the thai embassy london website it says i need a t8 form, does the airline provide one ?

Also it says to download Thailandplus app,which i have done,but when i press the installed app's button it goes on and straight away goes off,any ideas and is it needed

Hi traveling from the UK, extension ends 05 april 2022, looking at leaving here 28 june approx..will want medical insurance that also covers covid ,with the certificate to show immigration

Thanks for replies,so if I show the airline the re/entry permit, that is enough ,providing I have all the other requirements COE, Covid insurance, a negative Covid test issued  within 72 hours before flight and an ASQ hotel booked.. is that all the requirements ? Thanks

Need help the bike has mag wheels which i assume are tubeless tyres,my problem is this , stock wheel sizes are as follows

Front 80/80-14 rim Rear 100/70-14 rim

Can someone please post me an alternative to the set,as getting 100/70 -14 rim is difficult on lazada / shopee etc..

The rear wheel at the moment has 90/90-14 but the height clearance between tyre and wheel arch is tiny..
