Hakuna Matata replied to Enquiry123's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
The so called "Pink Card" should be cancelled in Thailand. This is mostly benefitting foreign criminals and fugitives who find a safe heaven in Thailand. -

2 Polish women apologise for sunbathing in Chiang Mai temple
Hakuna Matata replied to webfact's topic in Chiang Mai News
According to a study, the sexiest women live in Brazil. The second place is probably shared by Polish and Ukrainian women who are always ready to have sex with people they barely know. Certainly, an easy catch for playboys. -
The so-called "Pink ID Card" was originally introduced in Thailand for people without any citizenship who don't have a national passport. Now this "Pink ID Card" is widely abused by foreign criminals and fugitives who have found a safe heaven in Thailand. It's high time to cancel this dubious practice.

This is certainly a step in the right direction! However, only 1% of overstayers are travelling by air. But at the same time, 99% of overstayers have a bank account in Thailand. I suggest that the Government should issue a new order under which all banks in Thailand will be obliged to check if their foreign clients, individuals who have a bank account in Thailand, are staying in Thailand on a valid visa. In case of any doubt, they should report immediately to RTP and Immigration.

Hakuna Matata replied to webfact's topic in Southern Thailand News
Snorkeling in Thailand may be dangerous. There are various creatures in the ocean. My wife saw a poisonous snake fish while snorkeling in Phuket islands. Why she knows the fish was dangerous? The tour guide told her so. -
Russian upper class take over Phuket properties

Then we will ask Israel to deal with that. -
Actually, Thailand doesn't care what country the tourists are coming from: Unites States, Canada, Russia or China. As long as they are bringing the money to the country. The highest of tourism receipts in 2015-2019 was Russia and the average spending per Russian tourist in 2019 was 70,000 baht (2,250 U.S. Dollars) per person, per trip. https://www.scmp.com/week-asia/people/article/3203078/russians-fleeing-ukraine-war-seek-refuge-thailand-boost-tourism-property-investments Factors Affecting Tourism Demand of Chinese and Russian Tourists Traveling to Thailand
