Some Farangs I knew married bargirls and got divorces end up paying few hundred baht for Amphur fee. They told me it was simple and cheap as long as its uncontested and willing by both.

No he was a waiter doing a Thai job. If he pisses Thai waiters off, I'll bet he's going to get reported by them.

In Thailand, whoever has the bigger vehicle has the right away with Thai drivers. Most farangs don't understand this concept. Foreign pedestrians need to be extra careful crossing the streets in Thailand.

I saw a British Farang working as waiter at Beefeaters restaurant in Pattaya. I wonder if he's going to get arrested as well?

Known several Farangs paid 20K baht overstay fine at the airport before leaving Thailand. If they got caught outside of the airport, they would serve prison time plus the fine.

Once LTR-WP visa is issued, how long do I have to use it?

Is it better to apply for LTR-WP visa in the states or wait until moved to Thailand? Only difference I see is Visa fee is 60,000 baht in USA vs 50,000 in BKK. https://thaiembdc.org/ltrvisa/
