Not so cheap, though. The average sex-tourist (also known as a two-week millionaire) spends MUCH more than the average non sex-tourist.  And much much more than the average Chinese group tourist. So , in some ways, the sex tourists are those high quality big spenders the Thai  government should take the most care of. Instead, they chase after some illusionary millionaires who have many other and better options and prevent high spending quality sex-tourists from coming by prohibiting alcohol and keeping the bars closed.

You lost it much earlier… That is when you came in your little boat to the shores of the strangers’ land and then married a woman from the local tribe. You probably thought back then that she is your woman, one made in heaven to be your other half. But in fact, she is still the tribes’s daughter, more than anything else.

As if there will be any substantial number of visitors. There is a worldwide crisis and nobody really knows at the moment when it will end. I know some bargirls who just came back to Pattaya awaiting everything is back to normal in a couple of days. Looks like the PM's understanding of the global situation is not any better.

Like most Kpop companies YG Entertainment do not allow their talent to control their careers. Lisa has been refused permission to attend events in the past (Paris fashion show last year for eg).
 

They have complete control over the lives of their stars and the notion Lisa could or would make such an important decision on agreeing to an appearance at a New Year’s Eve gig is highly improbable.

And this is essentially what I meant. Fake artists like Lisa are just puppets in the hands of their bosses. They are created from nothing and can be sent back to obscurity any moment. You could never do that with the real talents.

Yes, I am afraid to die. Life is all we have. Death does not exist : it is what we call when there is no life anymore. It is not a transition from one state to another, it is a transition from everything to nothing, from 1 to 0, something our mind is not ever able to grasp, accept or reconcile with. I try to be honest with myself and not to claim understanding or wisdom where there cannot be any.

I wish all the Thais flocked to the streets of the puritan and boring Hua Hin and leave the sleazy and vulgar Pattaya for us, foreigners. Somehow - this never happens in reality and thousands and thousands of Bangkokians keep flooding Pattaya at the first opportunity. 

They can close all the bars forever. Still there will be a huge supply of women selling sex in Thailand and they cannot do anything about it. People from all over the world will still come to Thailand, rent an hotel or an airbnb apartment and have sex with the Thai women by contacting them through the internet. 
Because those women are  affordable, sexy and have a unique (let me call it Isaan) attitude towards their customers. It will even be better for the sextourists - no money will be spent on the expensive drinks in the bar, barfine and other BS.

If they really want to stop sex tourism in Thailand - then they better close the borders too.

 Even at the best of times their lunatic ideas of turning places like Pattaya into the family friendly resort have failed inevitably. To try and to pull the same stunt at the time of the biggest crisis in the history of the world tourism… send a psychiatrist to the TAT premises.
