-He said it was not about extorting money but about getting to the truth.
This and amulet thing persuaded me that he is a genuine buddhist seeking for truth in life. He is definitely innocent. Release him.

What about 600.000 British millionaires who were expected to flood Thailand in the second half of 2021? Oh, those actually were TAT’s sick fantasies and nothing else.

This thread is missing the point. For every sex tourist you need sex workers but you also need other workers as well.
So you may not have any sympathy for the sex workers but just think of the thousands who are out of work as well.
Do you refer to taxi mafia guys, sneaky mamasans, overly curious hotel receptionists, waiters acting like beggars, dumb guards always ready to beat the <deleted> out of another drunk foreigner, lazy thai youngsters living off their hooker girlfriends’ money? If yes - then the h*ll with them all too )))

No doubt others will replace them if the scene should return, and income disparity in Thailand remain such as it is, but for them personally, they're lost years. As for online stuff replacing the scene, I don't see it. The Pattaya, Sukhumvit soi 4, soi Cowboy, Bangla, etc., "Hangover" style experience, was a package, with partying and real personal contact being an essential part, for both the customers and the girls, giving your average western bloke and Thai girl a taste of the "playboy" lifestyle, usually reserved for the very rich or beautiful.
Let's not forget about the alcohol-related revenues not available for the hookers online. It took me some time to understand that Pattaya and Nana plaza experience is actually about an alcohol binge drinking stimulated by the presence of the half naked and sexually provocative girls. Tons of money is made by the girls just by selling dozens of 150-200 THB drinks per night. I don't have the exact numbers but my guess is that at least 70% of the revenues of Pattaya, Cowboy Nana plaza bars is generated by alcohol related sales of which working girls get a significant chunk (depending on their individual talents).
So when some Pattaya girls says that she is missing the "times before" - most often she is actually missing those magic whiskey and beer glasses which she was able to sell in hundreds, each at a price of five big beer bottles in 7/11. And definitely not the romantic times with the exotic foreigners from all over the world, as some may mistakenly assume.

@Zikomat can't you see that demand generates supply so the people servicing it (i.e. 30 year old women selling us overpriced drinks) are there because the demand (People like us) want 30 year old women to be there selling us drinks...
To withdraw the demand & then persecute the suppliers is to me heartless...
There is no need to persecute anybody. But the spoiled girls with their leeches-like mentality who got used to easy money will not get my compassion. I will save it for millions who worked hard all these years and now unable to feed their families. These are people I am ready to support.

If the only thing a woman of 30 years old is able to do in this life is to sell overpriced drinks to the drunk foreigners then... it is her problem. I don't really care about people like this and their so called "hardships".

That ‘worst case scenario’ is something TAT can only dream of. The real worst case is 18.000.000 Covid cases in Thailand.

To be fair, homeless ppl and Soi dogs are also not mentioned. We all should just wait our turn in patience.

The weakening baht is about the only good news there is in Thailand these days. I wouldn't mind it getting even weaker still.
With 50000 infected per day you will certainly get what you wish for.

The Royal Institute Dictionary 1999, the official dictionary of Thai words, defines the word "farang" as "a person of white race".
So whatever else this guy is, he's not a farang.
In real life, words often change their meaning. I have seen the word ‘farang’ used by Thais to address to different kind of foreigners.

Currently 22% of the population has been vaccinated. The remote regions are the most difficult to distribute to, and there are many of them.
Urban areas are doing much better, as you would expect, due to the logistics
15% the most. And they started their vaccination process the same time UK and US did. Now compare the numbers.
At least 50% of the Russian people don’t have any intention to be vaccinated as shown by the numerous recent polls.

Bryan claims the money is gone.
"We burnt through 32 paypal accounts while we were looking for a payment processor that actually told us what we can and cant do. Paypal told us all our money was held for 180 days, so we decided to keep finding more accounts to use and we paid all salaries and commissions. We did this to keep everyone employed and we figured we would get the money in 180 days. We switched to a new payment processor after our last paypal account was banned for 180 days and I had a huge backlash from customers and staff. We explained to everyone that we had large amounts of money held and we couldn't continue down this path to help our staff.
I later found out, despite no nudity, we are bunged into the adult world of payment processors. Which from what I can tell seems to be controlled by the USA.
Those 180 days are finally up and we have found all of the 32 Thailand PayPal accounts have been swiped completely. We have enough money in there to buy a house in any town in the UK. The reason why it's so much money is that we had around 30 streams going and they would roll back 3 days worth of withdrawals and I saw them reverse a withdrawal already in the bank."Money laundering gone wrong

The strangest people I ever met was after placing an add in the paper looking to rent out part of my house in order to have a care-taker there while I was off traveling. Never again! One lady said her husband had just got out of prison, he was dangerous, and my house would be perfect because she needed a place to hide.
At least, she was honest with you.

Preventing somebody from breathing is a clear intent to kill. The victim is told: you do what we want or you die. The death, in such case, is one of only two possible scenarios and not an accident.
