The promos - which appear to run until 15th April - give 2 different classes . . . B class and G class.

Just spent 15 mins on their website and can't find out what these classes are - can anyone tell me or point me in the right direction?

it always pays to check individual bank sites after checking rate city as they sometimes get it wrong. 5% is hardly going to set your world on fire but if you have an amount of cash that you want to leave as cash then at least it's some return.

if you are a foriegn investor you will pay 'withholding tax' of 10% on bank interest! which when you provide an overseas address will automatically be deducted by the bank as the interest is paid.

sadly, if you only get 4.8%, you are going to lose 10% of that! which leaves you with a tad over 4.3%. I'm not sure if I would consider locking any amount of cash away at 4.something % for 5 years, as this is rather low compared to approximate averages of the past.

The ones on the Accord are LED running light's in the same housing as the main beam they look good and are a safety feature. I think some people are mixed up with LED running light's and main beam light's. Main beam is for low light night time or heavy rain to give other's a visual.

Disagree John. Main beam should NEVER be used when there is other traffic within in sight ahead of you, either travelling in the same direction or coming towards....... and certainly should NOT be used in heavy rain. DIPPED beam should.

Agree the flashing of main beam can signal here in Thailand the same as using the horn. i.e. "I am approaching, have you seen me?" which indeed is also the correct usage in the UK.

Please read again Honda Accord in Thailand has now LED running light's housed in the same housing as the main beam.

As for using main beam it's either full or dipped common sense wouldn't you think.

If you want to see Australian Banks & other baking institution rates in Australia, check out ratecity Australia. it will show you the best rate available for any given amount for any given time up to 60 months. The best on offer in Oz is a tad under 5% but that's for five years, if you dare

The car has to have been registered in the wife's name for at least 18 months prior to applying for an import permit. Holding a full UK driving licence for the same period is also a requirement. The Thai Ministry of Commerce will also check that the wife has lived continuously in the UK for the same amount of time. These are usually the first hurdles people fail at.

Yes, you should definitely import that little baby and basically pay for the car all over again in various costs and taxes. Why would anyone sell for cash and just bring in the funds tax free and buy a car in Thailand? It makes no sense! So again, do what most of us expats have done and ship your ride half-way around the world and buy it again in taxes because there isn't much of an auto industry/market in Thailand.

There was zero attempt to contain the sound. In fact the design would encourage the sound to leave the building. (Open balconies etc)

Yes I get it now slow learner., Bkk Airways is correct as he is not travelling he has to pay cash or use Atm for the people traveling, For the people travelling and paying via debit or credit card has to travel on same flight. This information is available on there web site.
