I certainly would not, as experience is a very valuable tool for a child.

And yes , I worry - A Lot when my child goes on these vans.

This is the dilemma I'm guessing.

I just do not like the idea of children being transported on roads which are so dangerous and the steps we have taken to safeguard the child with child seats cannot be replicated by the schools.

Our child is not yet 2 so I'm not even sure when school trips start playing a part in his life ir how frequent these can be?

Really? So how old were you both at time of meeting?

It scares me too. So much so that were trying to buy in proximity of the schools etc. 

Roughly how many trips a year did/do your children take with their schools?

3 years in and having doubts about future compatibility. 

If you are having these doubts only now, maybe your looking for an out but having trouble justifying the reason.

After 3 years with my little lady I have seen her 10% verbal English skills increase to over 60% but I asked for a lot of changes and her crappy 12k a year job was one of them. Moving to a neutral spot was also another. Crappy TV soaps went in year 1. Was super easy. Showed her the rubbish equivalent in uk and explained the target audiences of this dumbed down rubbish.

I was escorted to the office upon my departure from DMK to Penang and made to pay 500 baht for a 1 day overstay. 

Do you let your kids go on school trips that involve journeys by mini bus?

Buses are very frequent. 20 baht and just jump on and in ten minutes your in laos. 

Vientiane bridge to Vientiane centre. Max pay is 200 baht.(taxi) You will be quoted 400. Could be cheaper if you share a cab with other people.

If travelling to nong khai by train. 40 baht Tuk Tuk max to the bridge from station.

There are only victims in this tragedy.

Nothing to laugh at, just a horrible situation for all concerned.

Recent visa run made an acquaintance who claimed to have killed a few people for queen and country. Over 7 odd years I have learned of a few farang who were murderers and through this website I have read a fair amount of farang assisted deaths. Murderers are not so rare in this neck of the woods, recently I looked into a legal matter and vetted 2-3 firms and found the owner of one had bludgeoned his own mum to death and yet he runs a law firm.

It's getting a bit rife and I'm beginning to wonder if I would have more in common with my fellow expats if I had a few kills under my belt, that or I should just bang on about how great koh tao is.

For the pain you'd be better of giving her a million baht and the condo and slinging your hook and that is as close to a win your gonna get.

My Mrs car is misbehaving. I thought our toddler may have touched a setting as he goes a bit mental in the drivers seat. 

Basically the right indicator clicks quicker than the left which performs as expected.

Is this a simple mode change or an indication of something broken?
