It's ok for me the important thing is that I can return. Although I am not a tourist but a non immigrant visa holder with a reentry permit

BREAKING NEWS in uppercase, in case you don't notice, you never know. Just for a Thai returnee from abroad. It would be better if you didn't join the media terrorism that is spreading around the world

See you in 2029 ????
2029...... that's Interesting. Why precisely 2029? Is there a special reason? Instead I say 2052 or the doomsday Bets are open
Come on let's not go overboard

Aside from the fact that they should explain to us how they got this figure of 3000 as they entered illegally. But the question is: why this article and why right now? Like as if there had never been illegal entries from neighboring countries in the past. The answer is in two words: media terrorism. Their goal is to terrorize the population to keep tension and fear high. keep the fear high for this alleged second wave of an extinct virus. That's not my say, scientists and Nobel prizes say it

Everyone would prefer not to have foreigners at home, especially a nationalist people like Thais, and this regardless of the virus. Therefore the purpose of these surveys is not clear, apparently they have nothing better to do. However, compared to the previous poll, it appears that opponents to the arrival of foreigners have decreased which means that someone is beginning to understand. So let's take it as good news

They should extend the amnesty for current tourists here for another few months as the ones here are guaranteed to be Covid-free and the only source of foreign tourist dollars. When opening up they should only make a travel bubble with countries with low or no local Covid transmissions. Especially don't let the Yanks, Brazilians or others with huge Covid numbers in until the end of 2021 at the minimum, that would be plain stupidity any country in the world did that.
Yes of course let's waiting to meet our wives, fiancees, sons etc.. until the end of 2021 or better still in 2050.
You can also die of too much security and fear, and that's what's happening to you.

That's proves that people wants normality. NORMALITY not the new normality. This farce has already lasted too long

Thailand can't survive only by elite tourism I know that many would like it especially to those that had responded to the survey. But those geniuses should understand that if the audience of the unemployed increases, they too will be negatively involved even if their business has nothing to do with the tourism industry.

I suggest you take a statistics course and then you might understand how surveys work.
No my dear it's not only of statistics matter, it also depends on the type of sample examined. Which means that if the most of the respondents are not linked to the tourism industry in any way, the result can only be this.

I have read many that speak of racism, discrimination and other absurdities by the Thai authorities
But what the others are doing? The entire SE asian are still closing to tourists therefore to foreigners So what are we talking about?
If the Thailand would be the only one doing such policy then you would be right but is not like that.
So let's calm down.

After 2 months of NO foreign arrivals in Thailand it is becoming clear
QuoteBecoming clear? How did you get it?
that some sectors now beleive they do not need us or our money.
Tell it those who have lost their jobs as hotel staff, restaurants, retailers as well as anyone else related to the tourism and entertainment industry
My girlfriend working in a supermarket, her weekly working hours have been reduced by 50%. Therefore according to his testimony the situation is not good at all

They are concerning about the WP and residence holders, about tourists But nothing at all ,about the long stayers such as pensioners, or foreigners married with thai citizen. At the beginning I thought that we have among the firsts to be take under consideration. But it seems that we are the only ones to being forgotten

China with Hong Kong and Macau
South Korea

Taiwan
Australia
New Zealand
Vietnam
Europe and USA for sure not, they are still high risk areas and this probably will not change until we have a vaccineVaccine will never come out, put it in your mind

As I have said on other threads. As far as the UK is concerned until the UK foreign office changes its advice not to undertake foreign travel, there is no new UK insurance you can take out to meet requirements anyway.
Then wait and hope. Better you try to get it in another country.

This guy is already certain that there will be the so-called new wave. According to many virologists, the virus has weakened or is even dying. Nothing lasts forever

Relax. Thailand will implement rules consistent with the rest of the world: They will facilitate trade and travel entry with its key partner markets. It isn't easy. Have a look at what the UK is going through now as it tries to implement international travel rules. The Canada- USA border is still closed for non essential travel. Thailand is in the same position and what it does will not be any worse than what westerners will experience in their own countries.
Maybe. But I'm still remind the covid19 certificate and health insurance. Anyway I'm not concern about the quarantine even if this would mean the death for tourism for the reasons we can easily imagine.
Then if they also put on the mandatory mask it will be the end. First because it's pointless to stop the virus, secondly, it is harmful to health because it reduces the supply of oxygen to the brain.
Moreover how can you think of walking outdoors with that thing on your face at 34/35 degrees centigrade?

My first concern is the after I mean when the incoming flight ban will ends. What they will ask to us, which requirements will we must to comply in order to be admitted in the country again? I'm not married with a thai (at least not yet) but I have a thai girlfriend I'm holding a long term visa with the reentry permit and I'm worried about what they could invent for the future. They are capable of anything

It's also my opinion that any foreigner will still be required to have a COVID test (within 72hrs) and US$100K health insurance..
I'd say it's a great way to permanently kill the tourism in the country since these requirements are almost impossible to get

New normal???? This is what the NWO wants to impose on us under the pretext of the covid <deleted> the NWO and <deleted> the new normality
-
I'm reading some of your comments and am amazed. A mass of cowards and doers of misfortune, You are already dead not physically but you are died of fear. This virus is a fake they took your <deleted> I'm instead totally agreed with the AOT because it is right to be optimistic then look to the future with optimism. But you are pragmatic you have already foreseen everything isn't it?
I'll be back to LOS early of next year after which I will take a holiday period in Europe with my girlfriend I don't care if the flight will cost little bit more ,as for you, do as you wish
