pattaya to become more "balls orientated"
can we also start a train spotting club
things are looking up
Train spotting will be allowed so long as it doesn't involve gambling on the numbers.
Or surreptitious games of Connect Four.

Ha ha! A chip off the ***ck - block.
As an aside, there's an excellent Aussie drama series about a pathologist called Daniel Harrow.
Every time he answers his phone with his surname, I just can't stop imagining he's Chinese, speaking bad Engrish.
That habit is called LALLING

In my after school Scrabble club at Harrow my daughter, then aged about ten, had a blank on her rack and had lined up <deleted>?KING.
She thought for a few moments then put down FLUKING.

Just like the darts player who accidentally superglued a dart to his hand - he just couldn't let it go.

I have met plenty of very pleasant transgender people in Thailand.
On what do you base your assumptions? I hope you do not form your opinions after reading stories from the Thai media.

There is so much to do for children and young people around Pattaya and if you have your own transport staying nearby makes it possible to avoid some of the tour buses. I took my growing family there many times a year through the nineties and noughties and in terms of attractions there are even more places now.
But as people said, Koh Chang is great too!

So many typos one wonders if you are shaking when you have your rants against visitors to Thailand.
Why do you insist on your policy to rat every visitor with the same shrub?

Travelling by 2 persons or more a taxi is cheaper and more convenient..plus you won't arrive all sweaty.
I found just that when I took my kids on the system. The fares need to be lowered to get us out of our cars and off our motorbikes in the capital and onto public transport. Price as well as convenience needs to be stressed for all.

I never understood why and where in the forum ...
In the Private Message I received , they only wrote : " you didn't respect the rules of the forum " :
Rules which are somewhere and interminable ( comme un jour sans pain , as we say in french )
so now, I will never give an emoji or make a comment on a mod comment .
I never have a day without pain of one kind or another.

Is that the same incompetence that is seeing major train and station infrastructure projects completed in double quick time in Bangkok as well as track improvements upcountry along with massive elevated road projects out to places like Korat?
Maybe you can't see that from your bar stool wherever you live. Or are you basing the Thais' ability to effect change in their country on the time it took to built a little road tunnel and put in a few dancing dolphins in Pattaya.

My column, now in its 190th edition incidentally, is both criticized and praised. I lend a sympathetic ear to the former (if the poster has actually read what I wrote) and really enjoy the latter that provides much encouragement. I try to comment on both points of view and take on board what is said like any half decent writer might do.
To the poster who is continually saying how awful I am, I am glad that I am saving you money on sleeping tablets.
It's all part of the service at Thaivisa.

Gambling on the state lottery and horse races in Bangkok are legal.

Fuji went up an awful lot very quickly. I would say the 220 to 300 increase was overnight some while back. I stopped going there as I felt gouged.

He appeared to be tweeking when I saw him and visibly high on drugs unable to sit still. He threw his half filled water bottle right out the back of the baht bus on Thappraya and nearly hit a mototaxi. He then drew his attention to me, asking if I wanted to go with him and it would be free, even touching me a few times. I politely declined and I could tell if I hadn’t been nice, it would have led to an incident. This was a real nasty ladyboy and clearly high on drugs.
Was this inside the prison?
