After her initial arrest and deportation back to Cambodia, the woman had another child, now approximately one year old. She decided to re-enter Thailand illegally with her three children, resorting to begging once more. She claimed it was a lucrative occupation due to the benevolence of Thai people and sympathetic foreign tourists who frequently bought her food and water, and gave her money. The woman confessed she could earn between 1,000 and 2,000 baht daily, almost every day.
Should invest in some condoms.

Chutikarn believes that Nattaphon’s former employer was displeased with his new business venture and hired the three suspects to kill Nattaphon. She added that she has CCTV footage and a voice recording file of the suspects reporting the successful operation to someone on the phone after Nattaphon’s death.
Find a good lawyer.

At a recent media briefing, Deputy Transport Minister Manaporn Charoensri emphasised that Bangkok Port will remain operational. “We have no plans to relocate the port. The focus is on improving it,” she stated.
Thailand needs more commerce not entertainment.

BTW, the government conspiracy thing is grossly exaggerated conjecture IMO
But strange how they shut him down, confiscated all his notes and records and took all his devices and equipment.
Maybe conspiracy I don't know, but maybe he was onto something.
Thanks for your interesting post.

When that question is satisfactorily answered I will happily go shopping for an EV.
Nikola Tesla came close to the answer, but the powers to be shut him down.

What is it with Thai cops ? Do they arrive with sirens and lights flashing ? Crims. always seem to be able to runaway.
Little planning involved... just the usual "they rushed in"

That's good news. (I do wonder how many of them would willingly admit to making an expensive mistake though. Human nature ya know!)
I have never replaced an engine 3 years after buying a car. It's only taken about that long for EV owners to gasp at battery replacement cost though.
But realize that many of us are thanking them for taking the plunge and demonstrating the major issues plaguing the EV industry. Apparently somebody had to do it. This technology curve is no different than the others we have lived through.
Apparently 8 track tape players were NOT the answer to music-on-demand for cars and Video Dics were NOT the answer for movie players, or hoverboards/segways for personal transportation either; but somebody had to buy them to show it. Sales for these items died in months, not years.
The pattern is just repeating.
Time will tell,it's early days yet... they will either make it or die out in favour of ICE's as they did in the early 1900's

Hehe you are funny. Lifetime ban means he will be on the streets robbing more tourists tomorrow. Confiscate his Tuktuk? Nowhere in the OP said it was his and it already had fake plates on it. Meaning it could be stolen or borrowed just as easily. 2 years probation? How will they keep track of him? Do you think he will be given a leg bracelet for this crime so they can make sure he reports and does his probation without violating any more laws? This is Thailand.
The Tuk Tuk was used in the act of a crime, irrelevant of the owner it's confiscated.
