These drugs have been confiscated by court order as evidence in drug cases, some of which have reached final judgement. The 40 tons of drugs inspected today are worth around 43 billion baht, and will be incinerated on 20 April.
Will it be a photo op or televised, or just done quietly?

Pub Dirty shares restrooms and other facilities with other pub/bars and so the number of people requiring a Covid-19 test has continued to grow.
The name seems very apt....

I believe they can no longer hide the fact they haven't been testing, now the numbers have grown too high for them to hide it. Covid is well known in many provinces to have been in high numbers for a long time.
A mix of non-testing and people not going for tests when symptoms show, thus spreading the love... of course aided and abetted by entertainment venues that have their own idea on how things should be run !

Looks like this outbreak in the Capital city cannot be confined as they did in Samut Sakhon... with today Friday and many people starting their migration courtesy of Prayuts wish to extend the holidays for much needed revenue it's going to go pear-shaped very quickly.

Once again the entertainment industry has proved beyond any doubt that it cannot be trusted to run itself, after crying that it needed to open to stay alive it has shot itself in the foot yet again.

Some of the Bangkokians tried that method... appears it didn't work-out to well !!!!

I agree. It baffles me why "experts" lead people to think it had to come from UK.

What gets me the most is things like the demonstration against the Covid measurements taken by the German government in Stuttgart last weekend. Lots of demonstrators, most of them without masks and no safety distance, demonstrating against the very thing they are prolonging by not wearing masks and not keeping their distance. How frocking cretinous can you be?!
Some people very....

All because they were afraid of hospital charges if tested positive and quarantined .
All because they wanted to attend a rave/party and chose to ignore all the precautions... idiots!
Good luck Pipat with you opening up Phuket as a tourist destination, your entertainment buddies just screwed themselves again.

I think it's a case of trying to control large groups gathering for extended periods of time in close proximity while ignoring all safety protocols."
Does that include large groups of people gathering for extended periods of time while waiting for a bus or a train to take them (and possibly the virus) home to their families for Songkran? How is Mr Anutin going to prevent those "gatherings" and enforce all safety protocols?
Most people who queue for a bus or train wear a mask... the issue with bars is the mask is forgotten.

So you go for a 5 day Songkran holiday but have to spend 14 days in quarantine - brilliant !
What it means is they don't want people from a red zone entering their province.... I say good for them.

Instead of a rise in VAT, which disproportionately hurts those who earn the least, maybe Thailand's fabulously wealthy should do the patriotic thing and start paying a more equitable share in the countries moment of need.
Maybe Prayut will ask the billionaire families to donate again?

can someone explain what happens if they get a test and it is positive
I think I have a good idea and none of it would persuade me to come forward and volunteer myself to the hurt that would follow
I could certainly self isolate in my own home if I needed to but no way would I expose myself to anything else
as millions travel and spread across the country these next 2 weeks Thailand seems to be hell bent on self destruction - it can only be on purpose it is so idiotic
As someone said the other day... "who the hell wears a mask in a pub".... idiots don't, and this is the result you get.
As in Bangkok... will organisers ever learn... NO they don't want knowledge they want money !!!
