Somsak acknowledged the protesters' right to demonstrate but mentioned that the Prime Minister has not issued any special directives regarding the ongoing rally or cannabis regulation. He reaffirmed that the government is open to medicinal cannabis use and recognises its economic benefits. He assured that business operators will be given ample time to adjust to new regulations should cannabis be reclassified.

Often triggered by stress, alcohol, substance abuse, minor issues soon explode into all-out rage.
There seems to be no middle ground, it goes from nothing to explosive reaction in seconds without any thought process.

After reviewing the CCTV, the police reported that the parked minibus was indeed partly blocking the left lane with its hazard lights on. Furthermore, the driver of the minibus was noticed sitting on the sidewalk when the bike hit the back of the bus. This frightened the driver causing him to quickly drive away.
