Fewer Japanese tourists have visited Thailand in a historic first
Quality tourists want quality service and amenities... Thailand has neither. It's a back-packers paradise with beer, beach and bar-girls.

Fewer Japanese tourists have visited Thailand in a historic first
Compared to Japan, Thailand is a cesspit to be avoided. Japan is by nature. clean, tidy, and almost un-polluted with clean, safe attractions and amenities, where people are welcoming and helpful. In contrast Thailand is filthy dirty, polluted, noisy, people are only interested in fleecing you while offering poor service and value for money is hard to find, especially the double pricing at national parks. Not to mention who would want to go from a nice clean modern toilet with hot water cleaning in Japan to an Asian squat toilet with a bucket and bowl with cold water??

Court clears Pita of iTV shares charges

Heightened security around Constitutional Court on Pita’s judgement day
Thailand is at a crossroads.. Technically it doesn't want change, the elite want it as it is, little education, cheap labour for the foreign industries and workers for the elite family businesses. And definitely no young up-starts in government rocking the boat. The people want change but are too lethargic to push hard for it.

Is changing the age of criminal responsibility in Thailand wise
If you do the crime you can do the time... On a side note S.Korea is very soft on juvenile crime, as a result many youths are let off completely and continue their crime spree as they know they are above the law, even if caught. They need to know where the boundaries lay.. cross the line and you're done.

Questions remain over viability of multi-billion-dollar land bridge project
Thailand cannot afford to build it, so foreign investors are needed to fund the project, and they will have a huge stake in any profits to be made. The cost of building it and using it to move cargo across the land bridge would be far too expensive and time consuming. I don't think this one is going anywhere soon.
