Ekniti Nitithanprapas, Director-General of the Excise Department, stated that the system for this tax will be formulated based on globally accepted methods and international norms.
And enforced the Thai way.

This concern recently gained attention among Thai internet users after Thai rapper and singer, Danupha Khanatheerakul, popularly known as “Milli”, shared her experience of getting an ID card at the Bang Phlat district office on her social media account, @millimdk. She expressed delight over her ID photo, which she felt was nice because it showed her looking attractive with good lighting and hairstyle.
Milli's post went viral, leading to many internet users expressing an interest in applying for their ID cards at the Bang Phlat district office
While the government fails the country, the CC try to quash and opposition MFP party, Srettha is sweating and Thaksin evades a court appearance the above gains interest...
Thailand is sunk.

According to eyewitness accounts from the Thai rider and the Myanmar driver, both vehicles were traveling in the same direction. The British rider allegedly attempted to overtake another vehicle but tragically lost control, veering into the opposite lane before the collision occurred.
I t wasn't my fault honestly.

Attracting skilled migrant workers from neighboring countries because Thailands education programme is failing the country and cannot attract foreign businesses to invest in new production facilites due to a lack of appropriate skill sets.
Soon all Thais will either be in the tourism business, drug smuggling, Youtubers or influencers, while foreign skilled labour will take over all commercial production.

Another patron, 50 year old Chang was also drinking at a nearby table and made inappropriate remarks towards Kamraithong.
This angered Bancha, leading to a heated argument. Chang then drew a gun and pointed it at Bancha’s head, but bystanders stepped in to ease the tensions.
Chang left the scene, while Bancha took their child home. Shortly after, Chang returned on a motorcycle, armed with a short-barreled shotgun. He opened fire, fatally wounding Kamraithong and injuring Chalao and Rungphet, who were nearby.
Just popping out for a bevvy, check for keys, wallet, mask, gun... all set.

If they're in a better place you're correct.
I've been here 16 years and have seen Thailand gradually sliding backwards, life was better when I first came here than now, and I'm not whining, just stating the truth.

As long as they don't know the difference between neutral and earth, it will remain life-threatening.
I do think a voltage detector in your pocket, as mentioned above, is a funny solution, but let's face it, if we have to prepare for everything that way, we're better off staying at home.
And they want to build something along the lines of Disney world in Thailand...

Aimed at controlling an influx of cheap imported goods, especially from China, this method is expected to create a more balanced market for local producers and importers.
Local importers already pay taxes on what they import and sell on for profit, they affect the local producers as competition.
This tax only affects private individuals buying singular cheap items from the likes of Lazada or Shopee
an item under the 1,500 baht mark.

Ridiculous to charge the outlets... they have no control over what happens after the sale.
DUI mandatory one year ban, retest after one year to gain a license and double the cost of insurance.
Any injuries caused during an accident the ban is 5 years plus criminal charges related to the injuries
Death caused by the accident 10 year jail sentence, no parole.

My rules:
1. Never trust anyone in Thailand
2. Never marry anyone in Thailand
3. Never give anyone access to your finances
4. Always conceal how much money/assets you have
5. Store your assets (gold, watches, precious stuff) in a secure location that only you have access to (safe, safety deposit box etc.)
You’ll thank me later.
Or just forget Thailand and look elsewhere.

May I ask if anyone here has any personal experience with enterting Thailand with a (western European) Passport that is valid for less than 6 months... ?
I understand that, officially, one is supposed to "have a passport that is still valid for at least 6 months", but is it also ok - or maybe not really implemented - if the passport is valid for only 4 more months - for a 2 week holiday... ? 'Personally' I think that should be plenty of time, but they might see that differently ? Or maybe they do not really care that much (one can always hope), especially if it is a "country in good standing". (There, of course, is a reason why I am asking, and no, the passport can not be renewed prior to the travel...).
So, does anyone have any personal experiece with this... and "what happened"... did things work out fine, or was it a hassle. Looking forward to hear from you guys, thank you.
Largely depends on which airline you are traveling with and from what country...
if you can best to re-new it.

YES my bad, I made a mistake still even less money to go to Vietnam and find a woman, as one member suggested.
I make quite a few...
I must admit as my pension date nears next year I'm contemplating life here after 16 years, or going further east to Cambodia, Vietnam or Philippines where expats are made more welcome.

Royal Thai Police disclosed there will be no reenactment of the crime due to concerns for the suspect's safety, fearing the potential for mob violence from enraged locals.
For once I believe there should be a case for a re-enactment, let them parade him down the street alone.
