Defend democracy,Thailand has no democracy as this latest fiasco has shown

His chair is in higher places with a direct line..... Add in Prawit or Anutin you have denied the public what they voted for.

Laws and rules in Thailand are flexible... more like guidelines. Even Captain Sparrow knows that.

A very sad day for Thailand. If this doesn't spark a public movement en-masse then it's sad to say it, but the population deserves what it gets.. Pull your pants down and take what's coming. And don't forget to Wai and say thank you after.

Which would normally be the case.. however this is Thailand and nothing is normal... except corruption in politics.

Prayut calls for calm... He's the main instigator of all this, his hand picked salaried loyal puppets have once again denied democracy to the country and denied the public of the party and PM they wanted. The whole system is rigged for the elite and military junta.

Deviations?

Thais selected a party... The PM is elected by the senate... Prayuts legacy to the people.

The voting public ignored by the elite. The working public should stuff the elite where it hurts, in the pocket.

Street protests are the only way to get economic recovery.

Unfortunately the largely lethargic population will not rise to the occasion which is why this monopoly will continue to rule them. Every city should already be besieged with peaceful protests. If the worm won't turn it will remain under-foot in the ground. Alas that seems to be happening.

True, India is a vast country with good and bad all around. Wealth is abundant and so is poverty for the less fortunate.. as does any modern country. They are now on an upward beat as they have the full support of the government to allow foreign investment pour into the country for the right reasons, unlike China who want to get you into a debt trap.

If the EC fails then the CC still exists... both controlled entities, as are the senate. The whole system is now rigged to succeed for the chosen ones.

Nothing has changed, you got booted out the same as the last time. Thais will sit on their lethargic backsides, moan and go to work as normal. Nothing has changed.
