People would still come if the attractions were worth the money, truth is other countries have more to offer than Pattaya, Phuket, Samui and Chiang Mai. All outdated and looking as if no changes are coming anytime soon. Thailands playbook, milk it until it's dead... the writings on the wall and it's in plain English which they don't understand. You have the sex trade centres, nothing else.

There is a bright side and there is a dark side... face facts, every country is the same. Those who say it's distorted are the ones relying on tourism and don't want to rock the boat, those saying it's true are speaking the truth, it exists. How many females this year will graduate into nothing...no job opportunities? Having to go to the resorts to make money? How many of those females are already participating in the sex trade to help fund the University fees? Is Thailand alone... NO.... but truth is truth.

I have a small sub-branch SCB 2 minutes from my home, I sincerely they remain. The staff are very helpful and almost like friends as they know all their local customers very well. The main branch in town is very austere.
