I was there last year and there was only 20 people this time last year! Then in March lining out the gate like earlier comments go Tuesday , even Wednesday better yet skip this horrible place all together a fly to Singapore or HCMC.

Chaiyaphum has been only open for two years and it even has 2 to 3 people. But always in and out in minutes!!! 555

There isn’t a form filling desk anymore since last time I was there in
April 2018 or guys asking to do your passport since another tourist had his passport taken. There is a photocopier on the top of the steps on your left for 10 baht

There is not a fill in the form desk anymore I was there six months ago. Nothing on the left just a photocopier on the top of the steps and you can give 10 baht . Nobody really asking to do your fiend outside since last April when I german had his passport taken

Even though I have only had my Non B extension for three months I was asked by the OP for a copy of my work permit. Having just traveled for 24 hours and little battery and just connecting back to AIS it was not the best timing.
This is the first time I have been asked for a copy of my WP in over four years. Anyways after two different OPs I found a picture and was stamp re-entry. And asked if I speak Laos five times. Smiles everywhere.

As of last week from Chiayaphum Khon Kaen immigration. Certified letter from bank for deposits only and for any monthly income even from Thailand they accept a letter from the embassy of the passport you are using. Udon Joe has told me and tax return certified from Thailand revenue might be possible For income + deposit of just income from Thailand I suggest you start getting your income from abroad stamped and certified from your home country/consulate
