  1. It was windy, didn't matter. Show wasn't very good.
  2. Had Covid last month and used Virx nasal spray. Kills the virus in the incubation stage while still in the upper respiratory. Woke with sore throat/fever. I had Virx at home and started using it right away. Covid positive day 2 and 3. it worked for me. Sore throat gone by the next day. felt like I was getting sick but never did, small fever for a few days. Tested negative and swimming laps day 5.
  3. Speculate all you want, saw it listed for sale last week.
  4. I'm taking this tomorrow. Long flight but it's great not having to transfer. Potential delays prevents booking transfer flights too close together so always ended up with a big lay over somewhere. Last spring took 35 hours, 3 transfers to get to Edmonton.
  5. Copies of Passport info page Arrival stamp/visa departure card rental contract or owner book and owner id
  6. Kristen K. Coleman has a video explaining her experiment on Covid19. Concludes it is air born and small microscopic particles, produced by talking and singing, contain the most covid (85%) and larger droplets have the least. These small particles float and linger in the air like cigarette smoke in poorly ventilated areas.
  7. I'm in Canada and, as of today, I can drive across the American border with proof of Vaccination and my passport. That's it. No Covid insurance, Covid test, foolish paper work, visa, or quarantine. With my Canadian passport, I can stay six months Go anywhere, stay anywhere and not report anything to anyone. So that's the competition Thailand. Go for it.
  8. I would have thought a 'screenshot' would have captured the pdf file in the appropriate jpg format? No, you have to convert everything to jpeg or jpg. There's a Chrome extension call Convertio that works and is easy to use.
  9. My flight arrives at 00.05, ie after midnight. I wonder how that will impact my hotel. I'm on the same flight so I called a hotel in Pattaya. The gentleman I spoke with said Covid tests taken before 6 PM will be completed by the next morning. Assuming this is correct, a two night booking would be required.
  10. how about setting up a health insurance plane for expats? Well, you're in luck! Just announced that a 3 million baht health insurance policy is now needed for an O-A visa renewal. I'm assuming this is on top of mandatory Covid 19 insurance.
  11. Clear as mud. My O-A visa application requires I book a flight and will take up to a week to process. COE website states it can take up to 3 weeks to issue this important and necessary document. Applying for COE requires hotel quarantine bookings. Now nearing the end of October, we get yet another unofficial ambiguous fluff piece of non information. Just tell us the real rules. Unbelievable.
  12. Why does it matter where you come from? I'm triple vaccinated in Canada. We have way lower infections rates than US and England but I'll need to hotel jail for a week.
  13. Couple of years ago they removed a bunch of big trees, widened the walk/road and opened traffic from Jomtien 1 to Pratumnak soi 5.
  14. The entire length of Jomtien beach road has wide walk similar to Pattaya. But this section, the sidewalk narrows and with lamp posts in the middle, there's a pedestrian traffic jam at times. So people walk on the road. Dodging cars and scooters while scooters zip around/between cars. No posted speed limit so if traffic is light, it's a raceway.
  15. One more dereliction and he'll get transferred to work at his father in law's precinct.
  16. Have a condo in Jomtien but if the opening is a sandbox, I'll have to stay in a hotel for two weeks. Might as well book Phuket. Double the daily Covid infections Pattaya has but it's open...for now.
  17. How long after getting second AZ, should one wait before getting moderna? I waited 9 weeks
