And any of this surprises who? I would imagine the figures regarding licenses are way off. Do they mean of all people of riding age less than 50% have a license? That potentially would be more accurate are the 1000s (hundreds of thousands?) Of children riding motorbikes, samlaw, etc included in the stats?
It's not just the figures regarding licences that are way off. The junta deliberately fudges the figures for road deaths in general by only counting a dead body on the road as a road death! If you croak off on the way to the hospital or, as in Western civilisations, within one month as a result of injuries from that accident, those deaths are not counted!

Sounds familiar. Tomorrow will it be:

TAT admit no one has applied for an STV visa.
Nostradamus was here tomorrow.
Most likely the latter of the two!

These people supposedly testing "positive" are most likely NOT positive at all because the RT-PCR test is not to be used to detect a virus and can show, as a positive, that the person has had a cold or flu within the past twelve months or so or is asymptomatic. This whole scare campaign is based on a huge lie!

What a disgrace!! RTP are obviously on the take for this to happen! They should be ashamed of themselves for treating a fellow officers death in this manner. Sad.

18 minutes ago, Srikcir said:What we have here with the EC is that, in compliance to its constitutional obligation to independently (as a Constitutional Organization) determine a candidate's eligibility to register as a party leader in a national election for election as a MP and PM,
- the EC APPROVED Thanathorn as eligible prior to the Early Election and General Election dates.
The EC has the authority to delay such approval for an unspecified period should it suspect Thanathorn guilty of any crimes until it conducts an investigation of such suspicions.
- The two charges being brought now against Thanathorn are based on evidence that existed prior to even the announcement of the two election dates which had been further delayed by the EC from February 2019 to March 2019.
But only now after the election the EC seeks to disqualify Thanathorn's candidacy.
How can the EC explain what appears to be a critical lapse (as in dereliction?) of its duty to assure that only eligible candidates participate in elections?
By such shortcoming how can the EC avoid being the cause for national electorate conflict and confusion - a political crime often advanced by the junta?
A couple possible scenarios:
- The EC admits incompetency and resigns in mass with election results preserved;
- The EC admits it failed the Constitution and lets Thanathorn's candidacy stand with election results preserved (theory of two wrongs don't make a right);
- Both of the above;
- EC invalidate the entire election and redo with Thanathorn banned from the election;
- Pro-military party leaderships signaled to the EC to allow Thanathorn's candidacy as it expected Thanathorn's Freedom Party to gain only a minor number of parliament seats that would not have any impact on pro-military party coalition shares of parliament seats that would be supported in part by Democrat party win of seats - or Prayut face unsettling public protests to disqualify Thanathorn.
- Pro-military party leaderships didn't anticipate that Thanathorn would not only gain a significant number of parliament seats to support PTP in a coalition government but trounced the Democrat party at the polls to render the Democrats with an insignificant number of parliament seats.
In hindsight to election results the EC appears to redefine the election results without electorate intervention that would favor current government (aka NCPO) leadership.
If that's the case, what was the point of the election from an electorate viewpoint?
I dips my lid to you! You have hit the proverbial nails on the head with your observations. The junta are out of control and only succeeding in making themselves look bigger fools than we thought!

That's the Convention that the US ignores at their own convenience and has not ratified but uses as an excuse to stir up the Chinese in the South China Sea.

"Among the most pressing issues awaiting the new government will be U.S. President Donald Trump's Middle East peace plan to end the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.
Trump's senior adviser Jared Kushner said on Wednesday it would be unveiled once the new Israeli government is in place and after the Muslim holiday of Ramadan, which ends in early June. The plan, Kushner said, would require compromise by all parties."
Two things really obvious here! Firstly, Trumps "peace plan" is only intended to give the zionists ALL of Palestine and will never end the Israeli occupation.
Secondly, as Kushner said, the plan would require compromise by all parties. But the zionists want they can steal ALL of Palestine and give the Palestinians nothing in return! Just like with every other farcical "peace plan", it is the Israelis who need to compromise!

" a U.S. think tank " Now there is a contradiction in terms! Why is it OK for the US to have nuclear weapons and process fissile material, sell nuclear information and expertise to Saudi Arabia, protect the Israeli nuclear program, continually threaten the world with nuclear destruction, but cry like babies because North Korea chooses to retain their nuclear capabilities as a deterrent to the US world dominance madness?! What North Korea does in its own country is entirely their business. It isn't as if they are instigating regime changes and coups all over the world like some!

How do you suppose that fire fighting volunteer got lost in translation?! I suppose for somebody who obviously has never gotten off their posterior and done something to assist their community, you would be of that mistaken illusion. I had 34 years experience as a volunteer fire fighter along with thousands of others volunteers in Australia and I know that a similar thing happens here in Thailand. Shame on you!

Where are these "elected politicians" you speak of? The country has NO ELECTED POLITICIANS, just junta appointed puppets from the military who were neither elected nor are they politicians!

Who is this individual that keeps being referred to as "Prime Minister"?! As the results of the, ahem, election have not been announced and the 250 seat den of iniquity have not chosen a prime minister as yet, then this individual, who has usurped the title, can still only claim to be the coup leader at best!

You are kidding, right?! Most of the "free world" is fed up with the American bluff and bluster and can't sleep at all waiting for them to make a dumb move that will set the world on a path to destruction. The world couldn't possibly be any worse under Russia or China!!

Fact is that Venezuelas gold and cash reserves have been withheld by the Bank of England under direction of the Washington cabal in a deliberate attempt to financially destabilise the country into submission that will allow the US to install their compliant puppet Guido!

The US is a mostly stabilizing force.
If you could only have one of the 3 countries as boss, which would you pick?
You appear to be extremely biased and grossly misinformed about US activities around the world. Firstly, the land grabs. There was NO Russian "land grab" in Crimea. The people voted overwhelmingly to divest themselves of the US instigated regime change in Ukraine and return to Russia. The US have initiated illegal land grabs around the world in places like Iraq, Samoa, Bikini Island, Okinawa, Wake Island, Diego Garcia, Panama, the Phillipines, Hawaii, Midway, Marianas, Midway, Guam, Afghanistan, Grenada, Puerto Rico, Haiti, complicit in the illegal seizure of Palestine and the failed attempt in Syria.
The US is an extremely destabilizing force. Its track record at destabilising countries include Somalia, Libya, South Korea, Japan, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Guatemala, Brazil, Chile, Ecuador, Colombia, Sudan, Ukraine, the Phillipines, Jordan, Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, Yemen, and so forth. Not a very impressive example of a "stabilising force".

Wilaiwan Jongwilaikasaem, associate dean for academic affairs at Thammasat University’s Faculty of Journalism and Mass Communication, cited presidential elections in the United States where there are typically only two rivals and "they compete on policy. Candidates win or lose depending on what their parties have to offer"!
Can't be much of an academic if that's how she thinks it works in the States. It's the farcical "electoral college" that decides who wins, subject to the direction of the zionist owners. The voters count for nothing!!
