Here's an idea, declare a blanket amnesty to all overstayers, get to know who they're, fine then accordingly and renew their visa if they are good people and not a  wanted criminals of fujities of some sort, that way Thailand will show that they're reasonable and forgiving and by doing that they may have the chance to clear the books and start fresh...

Oh dear! Please get a grip! They have already been doing that one time, when they anounced the new overstay rules. From they were released in the news and to that they were implemented it was at least 6 months to take care of business for all overstayers.

Why would they have another chance? Maybe you feel like this is something that should come back as a free report month every year, or better up. Free report week every two month.
It´s time for all these morons to understand it´s high time to follow the rules. Kickém out and stamp thier forehead with "One Way - No Return"

why? to stop reselling sim cards to unregistered users. Now you will ask: why some people do not like to be registered?

Are you by the way a, like Eddie Murphy said in berverly Hills Cop, psychic from the island of St: Croix?

By the way, not a bright idea to resell a sim to unregistered users. The sim you sell must already be registered in your name. Don´t try that at home boys and girls. So, when the next boms goes of in the south. You know it wears your name.

By the way 2: I am not going to ask why some people do not like to be registered, either.

So, you think that he deserved  that treatment?  I am constantly amazed at how many posters seem to think that violent reaction to an impolite remark or action is justified.  This guy did not just suffer a mild tap on the head, but a pretty severe clubbing to cause that type of injury.

Can´t say for sure, due to that I do not know if my first comment is correct. If he is one of all the power drinking and foul mouthed dorks that comes to this country. Yes, then he deserved it! Trying to talk that kind of people down is bound to lose. That treatment is unfortunately the only thing they understand

North Isarn, is there a lot going on up there? Rice and just more rice......bed at 8pm Is that why TV is your life?

Are you sure you are ok? Asuming things again. Bed at 8 pm and TV is my life???? I spend maybe a total of 1-2 hours a day on the forum.

I guess you answered your question yourself. Assuming that much and living in a fantasy world, will not make you fins a good woman. Not in any country would be my guess.

Wow bit hard on me. I like Thai ladies they are gentle. Maybe a rural lady? Can you please not attack me.

Oh dear! That was not an attack. I was just stating the obvious. Why don´t you answer my question instead? Why would you think that it´s different places to find good girls in Thailand than in your home country? Just, for your information. It´s not! See now I helped you too. Cheers!

Dude, you need to relax. Grab another pint or your happy stick. Chill. The question is totally normal and sensible. It actually honors Thai women. I'm quite sure there are many folks on this forum who have the exact same question. Obviously not the grumpy barflies who have nothing better to do than troll folks looking for answers on this site.

Would be nice if you were aware of what you are saying and who you refer too. Unfortunately you are totally unaware. You just quoted a family man that lives with wife and a 6 year old daugther in the north of Isaan. Do not need to grab my happy stick, due to that one is well taken care of. A beer once a couple of days in a week nis not wrong, though, but not on any bar stool. I drink my beer together with friends in my home. So, now you can crawl back from where you came again. Happy day to you!

Do you know that the accused is a son of a policeman?

Like I said. No, I don´t know, but that has no bearing in the case or should not have. Here there is need for a real justice system, but not one that has to be created out of people threathening to comitt suicide if the verdict is not overturned. That´s exactly samr wrong as protecting somebody just because the persons father is a policeman or of high status in the community. All of this just sends the wrong messages.

To use violence to put ones point across isn't being very civilised in my opinion. Even if the guy was in the wrong of which we have no proof he was.

You know, it really doesn´t matter one single little bit what kind of opinion you have. What can I say? Welcome to Thailand! If you like it here, you learn the way of life and how people react on different things and in different situations. If you don´t like it, you always have the choice to end up like this little poor bloke. Other option are also available if considered needed. Have a nice day!
