There are no safety standards in Thailand -- safety health and Environment (SHE) all does not exists. It is too costly to maintain to maintain the SHE standards and the owners don't care. So we all have to watch the surrounding areas of our houses in Thailand. This is the main reason for all the China owned factories to shift to Chiang Mai in the recent years after the Chinese authorities started to clamp down on factory standards. The shift of factories contributed to the pollution in Chiang Mai. The recent respite from pollution is probably because of the economic situation of China and factories production are down due to the bad world economies.

Like I have been saying MF only win about 30% of the electoral votes. There are still 65% of electoral population that did not vote for MF. It’s fake news to say MF won the elections. From the look of it, it is a hung election - with no party being a clear winner and each group needs the other to form a government.. so Pita did not win. He is just one bloc consisting of only 30% voters

MF got the most votes but bear in mind their total votes is about 1/3 of the electorate. So yes they have majority votes but they also need to convince 2/3 of the population to love them .. it is strange we hear so many of the 1/3 but not the silent 2/3 who still did not vote for MF. Let the democratic process takes it course..

Welcome to the land where foreigners can never get credit or loans but locals are lavished with super high loans which they have zero plans on repayment. where the market is delusional and feed itself on materialism which they cannot afford. Where banks seldom take legal action against loan or credit defaulters who merely get black listed enduring 7 years of no borrowing and resurrected as a good credit thereafter even without paying a single cent. All the above made possible by a eternally booming property market that does not cater to market demand and supply and whose only valuation is annual upward value of 10-20% each year regardless of whether there is any buyer or lessor or any humans ever interested in paying for the property.. and each condo have hundreds of sellers advertising for different properties at the same per square metre price regardless of floor, age of property or even the quality of the property.. which means an old shed has the same value as their next door condo… what a clown world call Thailand … whom we all love ????????
