  1. Thank you. I did look through different forums and because my querie included returning to Phuket I wasn’t sure which was the appropriate one to use. Thanks!
  2. Hmmmm but surely the date stamped in the passport is the date of expiry... ie their error not yours etc, we're only talking about 14 days here btw.
  3. Awesome! Why would I apply for another extension prior to the 27th Nov and not nearer the time of expiry, say around the 03rd Dec?????
  4. Absolutely as this procedure was stated to me previously, so a little surprised when obtained the additional days etc. thanks for the info and nice when things work out. ????
  5. Surely if the 60 days were to commence at the end of my visa being the 22nd Sept, then the 60 days would run until 21st ish of November, no? But on 22nd Sept, I was given the 14 day consideration period and today the 4th Oct, an extension which expires on the 3rd Dec. Am I having a blonde moment here?? ????
  6. I had been informed that upon first time for the 60 day C extension you're given a 14 day extension and then informed to return after the 14 days for a 45/ 46 day extension, but I was today given a further 60 days extension on top of the 14 days, so all in it's 74 days at 1900b instead of the previous 30 days at 1900b. Great stuff!
  7. Excellent, as we all know logic can be absent from procedures at times and I wanted to establish whether this situation is quite common.... Thank for your information and have a great day!
  8. I was informed that I will definitely get the 60 days extension, am I though to assume that this is a mere formality?
  9. Hi Guys I went to Immigration in Phuket yesterday to get the Covid 60 day extension, but instead of it being just that, I got a 14 day passport stamp and informed to return in 2 weeks to get a further 45 day stamp! Does anybody know if that's standard procedure? As it just seems to be an immigration bottle neck, no? Considering the volume of people and queues they have there it doesn't quite make sense, logically. I did ask why would I not get the 60 day stamp now but was informed, again, to attend in 14 days, so didn't really get an answer, hence this thread. Any help as always, is appreciated?

  11. Hi All Does anybody know which is the better Immigration office to go to? I've been to both some years ago and Patong is the smaller of the two, my thoughts are volume of people and wanting to get my first extension, hoping it will be a 60 days covid rather than a 30 days extension. Taking pport, photocopy of main page, signed and photocopy of visa page including TM6 departure card, a pport sized photo! What form is required guys? As I'll dload and fill in to take rather than doing there. that's everything I require and do you know the cost? Thanks guys!!
  12. Thank you for the info, if there was an issue obtaining the COResidence w/ the TVisa and I have green book and copies of previous owners id card etc, when it's time to sell would there be an issue?
  13. As we all know tourists can stay longer term here with visa extensions and to hire a bike is costly long term.
  14. Hey Guys As above... Can a guy with a Tourist Visa buy a scooter and transfer Green book etc in his name? I've looked into the specifics of what documents are required to do so, just wondering if there might be an issue having a tourist visa here etc?
