I would agree with you about yesterday's game, but try putting a City hat on and seeing teams defend deep every game...frustrating...boring...yawn.
And..EVERY team in the prem have sussed it's easier to improve a defence AND far cheaper. and honestly I find city games boring to watch the tippy tappy relentless high press cuts the game in half.. imo ruins spectacle..

Id say he might have been some use in that game... But equally he might have made a silly mistake that cost us points.
I watched pogba in the week for France .. Tbh not noticed it b4 but he looked a player SERIOUSELY out of nick ,. Would be the cricket term..

Just thinkin about yesterday
A Target man wouldn't have been a be a bad option. But don't suppose that's in peps play book ..

The blueprint has been in clear sight since the day Pep joined us. It's just for it to work, your defending has to be absolutely flawless and everyone working in unison. There can be nothing less than 100% concentration or we'll get through. Spurs did that yesterday but not many will.
AND arguably most importantly you need to be scorin.. something your forwards this season are are struggling with

I wouldn't say we are resentful, that's not the correct word, probably irritating is closer. We probably want teams to go toe to toe with us, like Liverpool, but teams have now worked out it is better to park the bus and hope they convert the chance(s) that come along. I understand the other team's perspective, but it makes for dull and frustrating football for us.
Trying to put a neutral hat on.. I HONESTLY don't think anyone found yesterday's game dull or boring. It was a great spectacle...

I know how you set up against us and it worked. That's over and done with. I was asking how you are going to set up for the next 4 PL fixtures
And I went on to explain it depends on the opposition.. but yeah the same that's the structure he's built/sorted. but with some flexibilty. as I said prev' flexibilty will be needed the chavs are a more dificult proposition than yourselves they have a number of midfield and striking formations... so I expect he'll start as per and adapt. Last time they took us apart b4 Jose adapted .
But if teams sit back there's enuf guile about ndombele kane son and bale lucus or bergy. To unlock most solid defences and with moussa and hje lookin solid and FINALLY givin our wing Bacs sufficient cover to safely get up the park... all at the mo looks sorted. But the best laid plans.......so to be clear, yeah more of the same.but with an eye to adapt or change.

How do you think you'll play against Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool? In between those fixtures you also have Crystal Palace. Do you reckon Moureen will be brave in that one or set up like the Alamo again!!
What do you suggest go and beat you at your own game... Our goal difference tells the real story.. teams are built for specifics and yours is built for possession football from the keeper to the front..your trouble is theres little or no plan b. Winning or losing Just more of the same, ours is structured strong at the bac with pace and power up front with the option to change down the flanks and in the midfield So in answer to your question... Jose will change it to suit the situation att. Last time Frank junior out tacticed Jose flooded the midfield and drew our holders out and we paid the price. Can't see Jose letting that happen again.. but then when you lose its NEVER part of the plan.. if Jose's team. As pep said, gets the first goal they're very difficult to beat

Camera angles can be deceptlive he's more than likely lookin beyond hoj. But either way .. noworries for me ... Jose's got his mojo bac.. pep on the other hand disapeared down the tunnel at the end, el pronto bit like a sacred rabbit .....shook Jose's hand and ran for cover.. this is the worst start pep has EVER had as a manager..so the next few months IMO were gonna see how good the reputed 'genius' manager ACTUALLY is..flat track bully or great allrounder... I'll go the former and would I rule out him gettin the chop? .. probably.. but it's football so I rule nothing out..
-
Well, little possession 4 shots on target 2 goals 20 plus against.. post the goal thought son disapeared a little as did ndembele' after 35.. BUT a good 35... He's a class act.. GREAT spot by Jose bringing the extra energy on that our midfield was lackin and directly resulted in the second.by le celso.. CBS OUTSTANDING. Losin Toby to what looks like a torn hammie and him, accod to Jose, being out long term IS A BLOW ..but there's decent competition. So when one door closes another opens ....so.. My m...o.m was between sissoko and Højbjerg BOTH persistently stopped cities flow and were always covering the holes the city were lookin to exploit. Højbjerg gets it just... Kane was selfless and is rapidly gettin that edge bac.. have to say he's almost there.....Jose's done it ALL before and I'm seein a group of players that are seeing that and believing in it/him .. .. it's a Weird old season so who knows. BUT I believe the players believe... Which is THE most important thing.

Long long way to go 20 mins gone, 1 up and one disallowed....man city look sharp... But havnt really tested Hugo. city at some point pushin up they'll Get caught .... GOOD game to watch.....

Cos Raheem was absent and he didn't play Foden. So we had to rely on the drought that is known as Kane ????
Yeah.... To me .. he's still a way from the level he was b4 his 6 months out... Will he get bac there ..who knows, he was never rapid.. but he could pull away over 1 - 2 -3 yards ..now ... Not so sure ? But if aguero can get it bac at 30 plus .. then I'm sure kane can.. oh agueros a vegan if you didn't know... Works abso WONDERS for elite athletes.. works wonders for anyone actually..

Yeah..... And look how we battered most..7 being the top no scored quickly followed by a six than a four .. which in 3 games we totalled more goals than you did in how many games DO REMIND ME.. And when you play with half your first choise AS WELL as we did against the WORLDS NUMBER ONE team and still lose... That'll be the day I take the Scotland 'revival' SERIOUSELY.. until then your a narcissistic D .... No let's be kind....... c lge team that's struck it lucky..

Since there loss to Russia last year and before going down to Slovakia last Sunday, Scotland did have a run of 9 games without loss while scoring 17 game-time goals (and 10 penalties).
We have learned to be thankful for small mercies... like not being born English or morbi dly fixated with 1966.
The Czech rep... Have a halfway decent pedigree. But the rest???? Israel Kazakhstan. B league probably nearer c ... But you carry on basking in the glory your trail blazing run???? .. if it wasnt just...... sad. . i'de laugh...

Just out of your last 8
Won 3
Lost 2
Drawn 3 (one of them you won on penalties but in 90 mins plus extra time it was a draw)
And how many goals did they manage? Not that many if I recal and they're center forward .. no goals for ... Is it 13 or 14 games.. a real joy to watch.. and listenin to BBC football daily podcast.. Clarke sounds... Well don't know if you've come axross football coachs. Who are DEMENTED about punctuality..it's sort of common amongst them. .. imo empowerment issues..... sounds like hes an extreme eg. .the ones I've met that are like thAt... Well ...<deleted> ..is being nice ..

A game.of no consequence. If there ever is such a thing
A decent performance all around... ATM Every time I watch kane for England .. I keep hearing ' i'de expect kane to have buried that' repeated. ... I suppose the old 'dont worry bout a striker if he's missin chances worry if he's not getting them' applies.. however.... yesterday would imo have been a good time to give calv' Lew" another. Start .. the young eager players staked their claim, against an Iceland side... Honestly,, a touch out of their depth....good to see Southgate juggle the formation however the midfield ISNT of the same qualities as the attack... overall 4.0 was NO flattery.
Oh and by the time the next international comes around if Abraham's can't get a regular club start... Maybe time to have a look at Watkins NO DOUBTS he's more than good enuf... and HE WILL BE scoring and starting.

Too early to speculate past Saturday's game...it will be very tough indeed but a real benchmark of where our team is heading.
We know how Jose's teams is improving and how they operate, long periods of no possession, sittin bac and patiently waiting for the swift counter. The second part were REAllY well equipped for.. just the first part or sitting bac with little or no possession... we're error prone and the TOP teams WILL /do have the qualities to take advantage. But we live in hope.. cities defence seems to be moving into a period of relative stability and they're attack is,arguably , finding some, as for the rest of the games, well as this season is proving so unpredictable in that almost each week a difernt version side of each team is showing up... who knows.. for eg West ham's second half display was the best we've come against all season...so my point is we may beat man city... But then lose an unexpected game..old style.bench marks seem to not be so relevant this weird old season.. but sayin all that ide be double delighted with a result v city...

Perhaps not every the exceptions like Leeds thnk they can storm the prem.. but they're findin out the hard way ... The 'budget' way to stay in the prem primarily is to sort your bac line out.
