Why do you like to scare people? It is possible he could be arrested, but not a given. So maybe you should word it differently and say it's possible to get arrested if caught instead of making a firm statement "yes, you will be arrested"
Do you understand the meaning of " IF " ?

Yes, they do, but do not use the pink card. Should not matter for registering a vehicle, but you get only a "temporary" 2 years driver license with it, not 5 years.
That's because they can't change our passport nos to our pink ID nos in they system, as so need to start all over again as a two years DL and will back to five years for the next renewal.

There is so many thai been caught illegal stay in South Korea and have been send back in the past, unless you ( a foreigner using different passport ) can go together and proof that she is your wife, that maybe more easy for her to enter and enjoy the holiday.

Read the thread carefully. There was no overstay. The blacklisting was for alleged fraud. Although the OP may have been abusive towards the immigration officers who arrested him, there is a good chance he was not guilty of anything. The arresting officer just decided (perhaps, he suspected a crime without being able to prove it; perhaps there was racism; who knows?) to recommend blacklisting anyway.
Thanks for the highlight! Noted

If you were to go back and read some of the earlier posts you would find that he has been given the correct info already.
He is banned from entering the country for 99 years.
Hi joe, I read that also but I still don't believe that "99 years" it must be a joke to me as I only award that 1,5 & 10 years ban for overstay.

Hi, i called this morning the thai embassy in ottawa.i gave to them all information including my passport number, my full name over phone, the embassy checked my name then she came back to me after few minutes then told me that ur name is cleared, u don't have any criminal history whatsoever any where in Thailand, otherwise we wont tell u this.if u r applying single visa then we can issue for u 90 days in 24 hours.Plz bring ur passport and one photo with u .
What if the immigration officers don't let me enter ? It happened to me before , on august 23,2014 then she replied me like this "sorry nothing i can do about it ,we don't control over them, we are separate departments ,we don't have any authority to tell them what to do. We can only issue visa as far visa concerned , nothing else we can do , it is up to them"
Is there anyone can give me very good advice or comment ,u r more than welcome to comment on this.

Why don't you call the immigration HQ in Bangkok to check with them just like you call the Thai embassy and I think you will get the correct answer.

Get some friends or book a taxi to renew it today and avoid to have overstay, is not good to have a bad reputation in the future when you need to apply something in the immigration

Yes, you will be arrested if you are stopped by the police or immigration outside after 10 of march midnight, my advice is better go and renew it tomorrow before the immigration office hours.

As far as I know, the Yellow book is accepted by Banglamung Land and Transport Office for driving licence renewal / car transfer etc. I know of several people who have used them in the past as proof of residency, in fact one of them was with a Yellow book from Surin and this was accepted no problem at all, has something changed?
I confirm again that in Chiangmai transport office do accepted our yellow house book.

Do you all really believe in the mushroom story? Well, if you talk with real forest people or environmentalists, it's pure fantasy. They may burn to promote the growth of mushrooms, but it does not work. Point number 2: The Government itself is causing some of the worse and most toxic fires. If you look at the hundreds of kilometres of verges that are burnt at this time of the year and you'll get my drift. Over at Mae Tha in the Chiang Mai region I cycled past about 10km of burnt verges some of which spread well into the adjoining jungle. This burning saves them clearing the mountains of rubbish that Thais seem to think is ok to dump by the bag-load along the edge of the road. The local governments are under an obligation to keep the areas clean, so they simply burn it all. And as the plastic is burnt at low temperatures what happens? Well they fill the air with poisonous toxins. Clever eh? But the sting in the tail is that all the posters about "No burning" that the SAME government workers erected got burnt too! What fun! Now how about the Northern Thai Sports Authority who decided to build an incinerator in the 700-year sports complex, Chiang Mai. Now the mountains of rubbish, including polystyrene and plastic, can all be happily burnt. Yes! Burnt at low temperatures using wood as a fuel and without, to the best of my knowledge, any scrubbers in the stack. Clever eh? So the kids in the local school can breathe in this noxious and dangerous air all the year around. Wow! They no longer have to wait for the burning season!!!! And the people using the sports facilities? Same thing. Nice dirty air for all. Now that's what I call intelligent thinking. "Have you tried telling them?" I was aked. "Yes", I said "Have you ever tried talking to a brick wall?"
"Talking to a brick wall" hahaha! That's true, the local will never care about the fire and they only care about they own interests. If this big fire is put up by a foreigner, it will be a very serious case, 1 million find or ten years in prison, maybe both together for the foreigner. 555!!!

That's really sound great and kindly help to explain, what do you mean " no longer require your income declaration to be legalised "

Digital signature or your hand writing signature in the new passport may not be a issue with the immigration as this new passport come from embassy, you should be more worried is on the day in the immigration office your hand writing have to be the same as show in the passport.

Just come in on this thread as we went to the local amphur today to see if I could get a yellow book but they said that the gf and I need to be married. Is this correct?
Normally the ampur will only issue to you if you are married with the local ( passport having a non "O" visa, how Long have you been staying in Thai and the best is you have a Thai kid with your wife ) or you own the condominium or you Long rent a house but that with need the Thai house owners to agree and help you to apply for it, a valid work permit may help.
There are some foreigners said different thing and different requirements in different area ampur.

As the OP hasn't posted for a while we need to talk about something.
For me the end result is it's quite possible that Imm' just might be looking closely at SETV/METV entries to ensure that those using them are in fact going to be here on holiday.
The first couple of times we went to UK my wife was asked a couple of questions in a nice way and answered in an equally nice way.
She's had three UK visas and each one has been used for a couple of weeks. If she had stayed for 6 months almost back to back on each one then I'm sure it wouldn't be 'welcome back' have a nice holiday. It would be, can you follow me we need to have a talk with a Supervisor.
Why should Thailand be any different?
That's is the reason! But people always only complain about Thailand and don't want to know how they own country immigration have been banning so many foreigners for holiday in they country.

Is not that we are right or wrong? The problem is we are a foreigner as so call "a outsider" in Thailand. You choose to have principals but the IO also can have they "choose" to go against you at anytime that is what they call under the immigration law.
It just like many foreigners alway companies about having a visa and why can be rejected by the immigration to enter the country. All the immigration officers/act are the same in this same world. The only country that we can make a lot of noise is the place that we birthed and on any of the government officer can ban us. Hehe! Cheers

Yes he do have the right to own property in Thailand as his mother is a Thai citizen at anytime ( the Thai law now said ) It will be better if you can bring him back to Thailand to apply for his Thailand IDENTITY card and at the same time get a new Thai passport just in case for the future, as no one can ensure what can be happen ( the law maybe change ) Also don't forget to send him to school to lean Thai if not he will have difficulty to stay in Thai when he come back.

I used to stay here on the one year multi B visas. I never did a 90 day report, I used to just fly out for a few days and then back in.
No one even told me there was such a thing as a 90 day report.
Totally agree with this statement, me too and that was few years ago and I did it the same. Not to stay till 90 days and can forget about the 90 days reporting. Enjoy more holiday for yourself to make yourself happy......life is short.

a friend of mine has this ID card you should see the problems it causes when he produces it, lots of Thais running round like headless chickens not knowing what it is. he says its too much of a problem and now only uses his passport.
That's very interesting, the ID is written in Thai words and the local Thai can't figure out what is this? Sounds very funny to me, I use my everywhere in Thailand and don't have this issue. Instead they are very happy and excited to see me a foreigner holding this card and told me that some local people that don't have a Thai ID also can't apply this pink ID and how I can get it? I just simply smile at them. Cheers

I have one but id say it was a total waste of time. A driving licence has more uses. Tried to get a phone AIS. Would not accept it but accepted driving licence. Its only valid in your jang wat (county).
Serves no purpose other than ID but a driving license does the same.
I use my ID to brought a IPhone 7+ with the new AIS SIM card and also get a AIS package. It's very simple, just bring along your Pink ID and your yellow house book will done.

it's my foreign IDs. I am registered with my embassy resp. my MFA. I cancelled my residency at home and expatriated to Thailand some years ago. Consequently my residency comes into my IDs.
Thanks for sharing, any other priorities in Thailand that show this passport/ ID to the IO with Thailand residency in it.

It depends how good your social connections in Thailand are. I have been working for the Thai government for many years. I was in similar situation like you, but my WP was always proof enough. Additionally my Thai address becomes registered in my foreign passport and ID.
That's a very new things to all of us! Thai address registered in your foreign passport and ID ( are you referring to your foreign ID or the pink Thai ID ? ) Kindly give us more information in how this can happen, regards

Is good to carry one around the Thailand if you can as Thailand always changes the requirements and on one know what is the next new issue. Few days back, when I was driving back from chiangrai with my Thai family to Chiangmai. We stopped by a Army road block and I show them my driving license but unfortunately I have been requested to show my passport and I just show them my pink ID ( just to try ) the army officer after taken a look of it and tell me to carry on my way without any question. I just feel like the local with my ID as same feeling to my Thai wife. Cheers

That's great to hear that my friend! Wish you all the best and happy long stay in Thailand in the future! Cheers

You must have a yellow house book first before you can apply for the Pink ID card or maybe you can get two at the same time. But In Jomtien, I'm not very sure as a lot of foreigners said that is very difficult to get it done

Long stay O-A visa requirements: Thai embassy Singapore
in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Posted
Is better and more convenient if you can just return back to Singapore and apply all the necessary documents but only the COC, I advise that you can make a booking to the Singapore police website first to confirm the date before you go back and that can help you to save up some time.
