Then presumably it could be stored in a discharged state..... doesn't make it as useful though!

This is tricky...people are so phone dependent these days...... we need to roll out power sources in all airline seats and eliminate these in baggage.

Can I charge my mobile phone in an aeroplane? Are there electric sockets?

Yes, you can typically charge your mobile phone on an airplane. Many modern airplanes are equipped with electric sockets or USB charging ports at each seat, allowing passengers to charge their devices during the flight. However, it's always a good idea to check with the airline you're flying with to confirm the availability of charging options on your specific flight.

I was going on to mention the standstill fan ....the ceiling fans are not the best for that heat which is a moist damp tropical ( other words to describe) in the Philippines

I found the Philippines heat much different from the Thailand heat and the Australian heat which is a very dry burning heat

Such as I may say that I may consider retirement to north Philippines such as Baguio or north Thailand such as Chiang mai or further north where one may have a different experiment of heat

Australian heat is depending where you are  Not Dry heat, I  Lived in NQLD for  over  40 years and  it't definitely Not  Dry heat up there, It's about the same Moisture  as where I live now in  the South of Thailand.

Then it would seem airlines know the risk of a phone/bank battery self igniting but can be dealt with by cabin crew.

I have seen vids of phones self igniting............😱

Yes they know that's why they set the rule  The capacity of the power bank is also typically limited to 100 watt-hours or 27,000mAh.

So, a tourist with fully charged power bank for their trip is safe....?

Is it safe to take a power bank on a plane?

Most airlines allow passengers to bring power banks in their carry-on luggage, but not in checked baggage, due to the risk of fire caused by lithium-ion batteries. The capacity of the power bank is also typically limited to 100 watt-hours or 27,000mAh.

Does a phone or power bank have to be in use to have a battery failure...?

Yes, eventually. A battery sitting on the shelf, not connected to anything at all, will slowly lose its charge over time due to internal self-discharge. With the lithium batteries that are usually used in power banks, this process is slow and would take years.

Airlines now offer internet services for the duration of the flight so have you ever tried using your phone etc from a bag and a fire proof one at that.

Easy solution,Don't use your Phone and other devices.  I Never do when Flying .

Most of the time one can watch In flight Movies .

There's no need to use ones Devise All the time .

Only kids and some Adults can't do without, they even take the phone to the Toilet and even use it when Driving and eating. Just plain stupid ,No Brains no consideration .

Likely he was delivering for them... but anyhow, he has no right to help himself to cold drinks from the dispenser, it seems unclear if it was water or Coca-Cola. It might be an act of kindness if the restaurants supplied something to the riders.

The other story implies these delivery guys often open and go through packages they are asked to deliver, that is a concern.

Yea that's really bad , Getting a free drink doesn't compare to that, i would let them have a free drink anytime. I would say You know where they are .they have a Pretty demanding job in this climate.

The Prosecutor's office doesn't decide on guilt of innocence, it only decides which cases have enough merit to justify taking it to court.

The role of the prosecutor is to enable the victim to tell his or her story in court through careful questioning. These questions must be prepared in advance of the trial. Well before the trial is scheduled to begin, the prosecutor must take the time to think through what questions to ask the victim and in what order to ask them. He or she should then prepare a detailed outline of the topics to be covered in the direct examination and key questions to be asked.

Don't want to piss on everyone's cornflakes but I'm pretty sure that being presumed innocent until proven guilty applies in Thailand, Asean Now Thai-bashers notwithstanding.

Nah it's the same everywhere ,Guilty till proven innocent.

Jus go to a court sitting an you will see That One Has to Prove that He Is Innocent ,

that's why so many people are on Remand in jail and are treated like Crims

The Prosecuter has an Easy job He just says That One is guilty as Charged.

Idiots say that guns kill people .

A Gun can't do Anything itself it needs a Person ,same as it takes a Person to Use a hammer to Drive a Nail in a Board .

    "The Scaremongers"?

Do you mean the 97% of independent scientists who attribute global warming and extreme weather events/disasters to man made carbon emissions?

    Hardly anything "Natural" about that.

I say that it's a natural  phenomenon Because it's been happening over thousands /Million Years.

Sometimes it has been warming and cooling Faster than Other times.

No one can say for sure who or what the course is thats why they call it an natural phenomenon.

You can believe what you like ,I say it IS you say it's Not.Amen.
