Kinda like eating the worm when you finish a bottle of Tequila.

I much prefer a pipe. Back in the day the person who ended up with the roach ate it.

I live in rural area and a few weeks ago the dogs cornered one at least 10Kg. The tail hit one of the dogs and she was done but the other one kept at it but the lizard didn't back down. I finally lassoed the dog and pulled it back and it took off, damn they can move fast. Found out later a neighbor caught it and made a meal of it.

I can't help with recommendations . Make sure the battery isn't bad. Three months after installing a new one the car wouldn't start so took it back to the shop to have it recharged. they checked it and said it was fine. Worked one time and then the next day dead again , went back to the shop Oh problem with your car , battery fine. Went to a different shop new battery installed and no more problems. If you have time you can do some simple checks. If the battery takes a charge , disconnect the battery overnight. Is the battery still working? if not bad battery. If it works check the charging system as above, carefully. To zone in on a draining problem pull half the fuses then the other half. Check all lights in hidden places ie glove box ,trunk and hood.

My credit union recently changed IT providers and now I can't even log in to internet banking. When I questioned why was told they get too much malicious traffic from Thailand so block anything from here. I can still call in to take care of some stuff but a pita. Will be looking into the credit union mentioned before. -
Most of you guys are lucky to get something close to home. I enjoy the fish and chips , but being from the midwest in the US what I miss is the Friday fish fries made at the local tavern and also wrapped in newspaper. Fresh water perch with fries or potato salad, coleslaw, tarter sauce and a piece of dark rye bread with butter. I'd pay dearly for that.

you get mustard lucky guy

Not as fancy as some of the ones mentioned above, but I always enjoyed Akavit (sp) on beach road.

I ordered a pre cooked butterball last year and it was OK but not as good as a fresh cooked one. The rules may be changing I have seen frozen raw butterball turkey this year. I will make do with a Hungry man TV dinner. Gotta like Villa deliveries.

I'm still 2 years out, but have been trying to get educated on the subject. It was discussed on the Medicare site or SS site. A lot to think about for sure.

I think the conditions for the exception are very limited and private insurance you pay for is not covered. Must be linked to employment or a few other things that most people wouldn't qualify for.

That is what seemed would happen here as usual but this time the regular guy won by a large margin. I bet the rich guy is <deleted>. -
Glad you enjoyed it.

Have you tried the BMS brand, Best Meat Service? Not sure about English style but the best I have found here. BMS is a German run factory in Rayong but you can find in Macro and other stores. The grind and texture are more like I'm used to. Most of the other ones I have tried are to fine a grind and are mushy.

There are tons of places between Ban Phae and Mae Pim with everything from small beach resorts to branded hotel resorts. If you want to check it out it is a nice drive along the ocean with small sois leading to the resorts. If you must pre book start the search in Mae Pim and the larger places should show up, but I don't think it would be hard to walk in. One of my favorite places is Coca Cola beach.

Not sure about noise reduction but the cement board works well, use the vented type to maintain ventilation. Insulation would help the most though.

When you were using chlorine how many ML in a glug? In my 2000 L tank I put 50 ML in and had a low residual. It will depend on the water quality you are treating.

Needed some postal advice from the Americans
walt1 replied to timberpond's topic in US & Canada Topics and Events
That does not seem right. Go to usps website to check prices, should be much less. Could it be they don't want to deal with the forms needed to ship or are they trying to overcharge? -
I'm about 2 years away until I have to decide on the part B, so thanks to all that posted, very informative. I live here full time and have insurance coverage now from a Thai company. How does the penalty work? Not taking into consideration premium increases and based on the lowest premium $150/month would it be 1 year late sign up 10% penalty equals $ 15/month forever. Year 2 =$30/month. Year 3 = $45/month etc.. If so I could plan when to start Part B. In my situation I wouldn't go back to The US until my 70's if at all. Say I start Part B 5 years late the penalty would be $75 month but I would have saved $9000 in premiums . That would pay the penalty cost for 10 years? TIA
