I had my second dose of pfizer yesterday. At first I felt fine, a little headache but nothing too bad. Today I feel like I did 10 rounds with Tyson Fury. My body is aching all over. I feel like I got the mother of all flu. Had the shakes last night and couldn't sleep.

Love Perth. Lived there in 97-98 I miss Fremantle and that awesome coast road on my Honda superdream 250cc

Confessed 55555 ye right. We have all seen how confessions are made. I wouldn't trust a badge here in a million years. Your credibility is shot. The whole would has seen your Interrogation techniques. I don't believe anything they say.

Here's silly old me thinking they want to help us stranded with no vax but no. I go to the website and they want money. Typical bottom feeders. Profiteering off of misery.

Thailand has handled this situation brilliantly and will continue to do so. Credit where its due. Well done!

I drive in Thailand at least 50 kilometres everyday and I hate every second of it. The bad condition of all the roads and the lack of road sense along with poor road markings especially for night driving. I am only surprised there isn't more as one of my 18 year old students just bought her license for 6000b which included 3 days in a classroom each day consisting of 3 hours theory then she was guaranteed a pass no matter what her test results. The poor road worthiness of most vehicles and no patrolling active police presence also contributes to the high numbers. Easily fixed if there is the will to do so. Must also give a shout out to the amazing parking here too which often cause obstructions on busy roads.

Me too brother. I feel your pain. I am losing my <deleted> reading through all the non information. Just extend the amnesty 3 months to give time for all this to flush through the system <deleted>. Easy done and will save a lot of headaches in the long run.

Look behind the curtain. This isn't about monkey labour or coconut milk production. This is the UK turning the screw in retaliation for the treatment of British citizens in Thailand and the cosy relationship it now has with China. It's a subtle tap on the shoulder to say "erm calm it down a bit little man" . The red lighting of Thai citizens to travel to the UK and now this is no coincidence. More to come in the not to distant future.

Not surprising considering the treatment of British citizens here. Also the cosy relationship with China and a withdrawing from closer ties with the west is the reason for this. Thailand has a choice to make. China or the West. The ramifications of a wrong choice will effect generations to come. Do you want more freedom or less. Big choice to make. Make it wisely.

23 hours ago, jphasia said:Yes. This is my case. I am on Non O Multi Entry (because I live in Thailand normaly work in neighbor country) and supposed to leave country every 90 days. I should have left End of May but postponed due to the Covid. If the amnesty stopped end of this month, I will need to do the a border run. But with the actual restrictions, where and how will i be able to come back? I will have the option to get a 60 days extension, hoping that by that time, crossing the borders and re-entry will be easier but with an extension of the amnesty, I would on safe side...
I'm in the same situation. Some total nitwits on here only concerned about their own situation. They fail to see other peoples positions. Hope everything works out for you.

Land borders are not open.
So no "border runs" possible for anyone. only small number if opre-secreened foreigners sleected through overseas embassies being allowed in by air on special flights.
There is an amnesty on overstays in effect through end of July and this may get extended.,
You might be able to get an incountry extension of stay based on marriage to a Thai - suiggest you post in the Visa forum.
Thanks for your input. I home they just extend the amnesty or give me an extension of stay. Its giving me a headache.

The land borders are not open yet. When they do, presumably a decision regarding the quarantine requirements for visa/border runners will be announced.
Waiting for this to all iron itself out is causing me anxiety

How about people who are already here on marriage visas that need to do a 90 day border run? Will I have to go across the bridge at nong khai then 30 minutes later come back in and do a 14 day quarantine??? Seems ridiculous since I've been here in Thailand throughout this entire crisis. I have a job here and a workpermit. I cant afford 2 weeks not earning on top of the already 3 months.

How do you register to enter? I have to do a border run. I am married to a Thai but I don't know how to register to enter.
-
I don't want to leave the country only to be denied re-entry.

Your post led me to believe you were concerned about you long expired permitted to stay date when you leave the country and try to enter the country.
The borders are closed at this time and it is unknown when they will be open and what will be required for entry.
Thanks for your help and input. Its always good to chat to someone. I always worry about these things because I know how it works here. They tell you one thing then you get to the border and its something else. But I suppose we can only do what is best.

Why do you think you would have a problem entering the country?
When you leave the country the will do the departure stamp and make a note you had stayed in the country under the amnesty. I have already seen a photo of a stamp out and the note.
Because they are not letting foreigners enter the country
