    Lock her up!

Maybe she didn't see the painter. But driving a car over someone and not noticing it is basically impossible unless she was drunk, drugged, or something like that.

Any normal driver who drives against a big "obstacle" would brake right away. She didn't. Guilty.

And yes, there should have been a sign or someone looking after the painter, but that doesn't change anything from my comment above.

Thais run over people all the time and never stop , or not notice and they are always innocent, why should a farang be found guilty double standards!

FIL has some kind of insurance (I have to ask my wife the details) but the BIL was paying the premium for that.

But I guess it's only something like 20-30.000 THB in total which absolutely doesn't compare to the cost he and the rest of the family had to make because the FIL was already bedridden for well over 7-8 months.

Another thing, also this year my wife's OLDER sister died, and for example the Electricity Bill the BIL got after that was well over 6500 THB, I wonder what it will be now (we will know on the 18th as then the meter reader comes)

Never ever was the electric bill 6500k

I agree that the Fulham v Liverpool game was at 18.30 hrs in Thailand last Saturday, however if you look at the future games many will start a lot later and when the clocks change in England they become very late kick offs here.

The point is as the vast amount of TV revenues come from Asia the Premier League should try to arrage a few more earlier kick offs.

Every Saturday there will be a 18 30 kick off and 4 minimum at 21 00, Sunday there will be 2 at 20 00 that's 7 out of the 10 matches at a reasonable time at 1 hour to that and it's still a reasonable early kick off

Obviously I'm not going to place an order, and neither will I for the 300 baht Dahua camera, but I'm sure there will be dumbo's who do.

My point is that if Lazada respects their customers, they should have a system in place that automatically flags such listings.

The truth is that they don't care.

I have in the past reported some obvious scams, like for example a seller who has hundreds of positive reviews for a specific article, made by only a handful of "buyers". But although Lazada told me they would investigate, the same listing is still there months later.

This tells me that they, even when they are informed, they still don't care, which in return makes it obvious to me that they are involved in some way.

When you click on what you want in the options section the right price will come up, say 5000 baht or whatever, that's just a headline to get you to look, my wife always says this is cheap 50 baht or whatever for a product and I click on options and choose it , then you get the real price show up

Agreed, I see that dangerous manoeuvre by motorcyclists time and time again. They do not seem to have a clue how to approach a right turn or a U turn safely.

They move to the left and then look over their shoulder. All too often they either don't see an approaching vehicle or misjudge its speed.

I can see little reason to blame the pick up driver for this tragic accident.

    Watch the CCTV

Yep same excuse!  Brake failure? going too fast to be able to stop! If this road has any CCTV, one can go back and check how fast this Revo guy was going I suspect it was fast to have taken the bike after impact so far!  Lucky there wasn't a Crosswalk?

Says he swerved to try and avoid the motorbike, causing his brakes to fail, that's if the translation is correct, looks like he was speeding

    Just to be clear.

You are able to obtain extension marriage but cannot meet the money in bank requirement?

The dust needs to settle on new announcement regarding covid rules.

Clearly your not 50+ as the extension retirement would be better option.

You do realize that the 400k only has to be in bank for approx 3 months (including under consideration period)

I had the extension of stay using the cash in bank, but I could not renew it in July as I didn't have the money, so I went of covoid extensions

The change in rules for non-imm covid extensions was just announced today... so whatever was, was in the past. I am still waiting on clarification how we non-imm holders who are on covid extensions will fare going forward.

I normally make the non o visa because of being married, now I'm on covoid extensions, I assume we will be ok to continue on covoid extension untill the borders open and we can obtain another non o visa , always baffles me why we have to border hop every 90 days though instead of going to Thai immigration and paying them every 90 days, Thailand must lose out on lots of extra income not doing that
