A lot depends on where you are in Thailand and what level you are teaching.  In Bangkok, I wouldn't charge less than 1,500 an hour for an IELTS student and 2,000 baht an hour is not uncommon.  My school charges 2,700 an hour for 1:1 IELTS classes, so I'm cheap!

Wow that much an hour more than you would earn in most places around the world doing any job

My original question was not related to free streaming sites, rather whether as a 3BB customer I can get the TrueVisions package or not.... ????

As well as unreliable streaming, streaming sites are stuffed full of ads, pop-ups, and the odd virus ????

But I'm sure there are "good" ones as well ????

    Thanks all

Yes you can I got 3bb and have true for footy 399 a month + vat

  3. Go to the PEA office and show them they will send someone within a few days to check , happened to us last month's bill was double they came and checked wiring in our pig houses faulty, they come and check for free w

  4. SPM company starter feed is 750 a bag 105 plus, the pigs need 1/2 a bag before you move onto SPM 115 which you feed till they 50 kg roughly 3 1/2 bags at 530 a bag , then onto SPM 130 at 500 a bag 3 bags total then to finish off 1 bag of SPM 160 at 470 a bag totall 8 bags 105 kg AVG 2.3 kg conversion rate cost is total a pig 4185 BAHT that's buying a few bags at a time I get cheaper as I buy 70 bags plus a time, buying straight from supplier no chance unless buying a ton at a time cost 400000 BAHT minimum and if already a shop in your area they won't sell to you anyway hope this helps

  6. I have a non o visa already extended by 60 days at immigration which runs out on 18th april as borders are shut im covered till the 30th as already used up my 60 day extension, I think if you on a non o via marriage like me and you haven't extended yet by 60 days at your local immigration office you are not covered by the amnesty but if like me you have done that already you are covered as there is no other options to extend as uk embassy no longer issuing letters as not needed thats my take on it anyway

I obtained a Non-O visa based on marriage to a Thai in July - absolutely no problems. Do not apply on a Monday or a thursday due to the visa run packages. No request for bank details. Documents required:

    1. Visa application form duly completed and 5,000 Baht.

    2. 2 x Passport photos.

    3.A. A valid passport.

3.B. A copy of your main passport page which you should sign.

    4. Original marriage certificate which they will return immediately on application.

    5. Copy of marriage certificate - I and my wife countersign on the back of the copy.

    6. Copy of the wife's house book which she signs in Thai.

    7. Copy of the wife's Thai ID which she signs in Thai.

In addition, I always include a copy of the wife's passport page which she signs in Thai.

No request for proof of funds.

I turned up 10 minutes before the gate closed thus missing the early morning rush. Next afternoon I turned up approx 2.30 p.m. no one else around.

    Staff were friendly and cooperative.

There is a copy shop across from the consulate just in case.

Also, the consulate is within walking distance of the town with several hotels. On receiving your passport with visa, you can walk back to the bus station to catch the bus to travel back to Mukdahan, if required.

    Best of luck.

Do you reccomend a hotel as im going soon thanks

If you enter again prior to Oct 12 you will get a new 90 day permitted to stay - then you can buy a re-entry permit prior to your travel to UK and use that on your return to get a new permitted to stay to the same date you had when you obtained the re-entry permit.

Thanks for that I leave on October 5th ,so a few days before I go do a border run then I go immigration to get a re entry permit , and when I arrive back in Bangkok end of October I get the 90 days back then I can go savannaket to get my non o again that's correct isn't it

  12. 3 minutes ago, ubonjoe said:

That is correct since your visa will be expired. You would not able to use it to enter the country.

You could get a new 90 day entry before the visa expires and a re-entry permit (1000 baht for a single re-entry permit) to keep the remainder of it valid when you return from your trip. Better than getting a 30 day visa exempt entry.

Ok so when I enter again that would give me 90 days , I get the new 90 day entry from immigration or a border run I no I pay the 1000 BAHT extension at immigration thanks sorry for messing you about

With an unexpired multiple entry visa, a reentry permit is not required. The only time you might want to use a reentry permit is to protect your final 90-day permission to stay from your last entry into Thailand using the visa (when your subsequent return to Thailand will be when the visa has expired, but the permission to stay will still be worth saving).

My non o visa expires on October 11 2019 but I go to UK for 3 weeks in October but I will still have my last 90 entry on my visa ,as I not back till 31st of October I've been told I can't use it as visa now expired is that correct? Thanks
