  1. I'm so grateful to the officer in Chiang Mai he has been very professional and transparent. According to desertsky there's two years ahead that haven't been processed before your que. Hopefully that won't translate into two years of waiting.
  2. Thank you much appreciated that's very helpful. I just checked again and my application was actually approved in March 2022. So that's not too bad at least the people in Bangkok are moving, any movement is better after almost 3 years of nothing happening. I am pretty sure that applicants would be more than happy to pitch in to get the budget going. 5555
  3. Does anybody know if people that already had MOI interviews in 2023 in Chiang Mai or other provinces have made any movement.
  4. Instead of starting a company you may want to look at iglu. If you're just trying to continue your work permit. I think for a fee they will do the work permit and provide you all the paperwork required to maintain it. https://iglu.net/thailand/ Also are you a permanent resident?
  5. Anybody know if the pr book can be renewed in Chiang Mai? mine is full. And if not, in Bangkok how long does it usually take? Thank you in advance. If it matters mine was originally issued in Bangkok but I live in Chiang Mai.
  6. Phumtham Wechayachai appears to be supportive of streamlining citizenship applications, especially for long-term migrants and ethnic minorities. Let's see if he is supportive of expats.
  7. That would probably be good news. As far as I know the current interior minister has not signed any new citizenship applications except for those women that were already in the pipeline from the previous administration. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
  8. I did mine in Chiang Mai I think every province can accept citizenship applications and do the MOI interviews. Not that they're all well prepare to handle it, but The officers in Chiang Mai we're very professional.
  9. Thank you very much. I don't have a pink ID but I entered my 8-5098-00001-xx-x from my driver's license no luck. แจ้งเตือน ไม่พบข้อมูล. I have also had my MOI interview. Would be interesting to know if it actually works for anyone so that we could check the status ourselves. That would be very useful.
  10. As a PR I sang the national and royal anthems. Application was approved by the ministry of interior in Chiang Mai and sent to Bangkok for final approval. But nothing since about 3 years. From what I understand it still has to be approved by the big committee.
  11. Drjoy do you have any insight regarding people that have already been interviewed by the ministry of interior in Chiang Mai and are now waiting for final approval from the big committee in Bangkok? supposedly I'm finished with the process just waiting for signatures. My moi interview was in 2022. Also it seems like the minister of interior is not approving any new applications. Are the ones that have received citizenship recently been approved by the previous minister? Thank you in advance
  12. Rahula became an arahant. So couldn't be reborn.
  13. That's why they have thaksin under their control.
