But to get Permanent Residence, Immigration do require your fingerprints and all Thai citizens have to provide them when they have their ID card issued.
 
It is only a question of time before everyone will need to provide fingerprints to enter Thailand.

Transition periods are always tough. There was never a good time to save countless lives by banning the tray rides.

The problem rests squarely on the shoulders of thais. They never ever listen to warnings because especially the country red necks can not plan past today's "what to eat for dinner"

At least they will make it alive.

Isn't the point of retirement though buying a place not renting? Rent is dead money unless you are a landlord raking it in.
 
HK if you are on a tight budget is in no way suitable. Quality of life etc as I mentioned before.

Signs are for show for the bib although I have noticed that the bus stops are now clear of parked cars and the bus will use them to pull over if close enough.

OP you don't need to go 4 or 5 times a week. Just aim for two.. Work the separate muscle groups hard over 2 days. It's doable and will keep you in shape without burning you out
