So as I understand it, he was a customer. How many of you can tell the difference between an 22 year old or even an 18 year old vs. a 17 year old? Do you check the ID's of the bar girls you pick up? Do you know if the ID is fake? "two women for committing the offense of “conspiracy by agreement of two or more persons to commit human trafficking” by secretly employing children under 18 years of age at a bar in Hua Hin."
I failed to read one Brit was part of the initial conspiracy.
So fast to hang someone. How much better are you than a guy that may have been hoodwinked buy a older looking 17 year old?

Last month while opening the shed door, it was stuck on something. I pulled and pulled harder. Looking up to see if I could see what was sticking, it opened.
I was then juiced in the face from a big red one as the door squished the centipede. Guts and all in my face, but no poison. Disgusting as all get out, but cleaned it off and was very thankful the rest of the day!
Now I ALWAYS look first, well back from the door.

I had the same idea 15 years ago, but only a book would survive changes in technology. A video in any format will be unreadable in 10 years as new formats enter the arena constantly.
Storing that info online for eternity would be much to costly.

I got scammed on FB market last year to the tune of about 10,000 THB for a camera lens. Money sent to his bank account at Bangkok Bank. He actually admitted it was a scam as soon as he had the money. Within an hour my wife and I were at the police station filing a report.
Needless to say, maybe the police contacted the bank, probably not. I got nothing in return but a lesson in FB and Thailand.
I have since had two other scams, but I only do COD now. The last one was an empty box that was supposed to be boots, I refused to accept. The delivery guy told me before I even held the box there was noting in it. He had no problems taking it back.
So if you get bit, forget about getting money back. Now maybe if you are Thai, the police might show some interest.

If your denying Global weather changes due to some local cold weather, that only shows you know nothing about Global warming. You should probably steer clear of any conversation needing a moderate IQ and understanding of basic science.

I can look out from my door almost every day now and see as many as 6 fires within a 3 klm range. And this is a small village. Garbage and rice fields being burned, coconut husks, plastic trash, areas between fields. multiply this times how ever many small villages in the country and you have your causes.
Until it negatively effects tourism, no changes will happen. The other people don't matter, only tourist money.

How is your blood sugar? Before I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, I felt like dying. My A1c was over 14. Should be 7. I am underweight as well.

There is a wildlife site on Facebook and a standalone website with trail camera in Alaska. The pics and videos are amazing.
The name of the camera: Browning trail camera. Recon Force advantage is the model/ Check with Amazon. Skip Lazada if you want something good. I have one from Lazada that is basically un-usable.
The shop closed a day after I got it, so no returns. It takes 2 pics that are fair, the rest are overexposed white screen. Cost me about 3K THB.

When I think every small village in Thailand has at least one or more people making charcoal, the government should be looking outside the tourist spots and try to come up with a better idea other than passing the buck until next year at the same time.

My wife's daughter is married to a Korean man, living in Inchon. My wife is 50 years old, "employed" as a housewife, owns land and a house here in Thailand. It was a royal pain in the -ar** to get a visa for her to visit, whereas another daughter and son, both under 25 and unemployed, easily got a visa from the on-line app. After being denied 3 times, we had to resort to using an agent to get a tourist visa. She held a round trip airline confirmation the entire time, and had more than sufficient funds in the bank. All that information was provided in the app from Korea.
Arbitrary is putting the rules mildly.

Nothing on their website about feedback for this measure. Sounds like the same thing every year. Nothing ever happens.

Once last year while in Bkk, I was needing a taxi to the train station. The driver said 300 THB, I said use the meter. He did, It ended up being 300 baht due to traffic and he knew how far. Maybe if he doesn't use the meter, he doesn't pay the cab company? Don't know for sure.
On my last trip on the way to the bus station to go to Korat, the driver asked where I was going. I told him and he said his family was up that way. He would take me for 500 thb. Normally it is a 2000 thb fare in a cab.
If they don't want to use the meter, get another cab. Easy.

I had 2 epidurals long ago, maybe 30 years ago after a back injury and surgery. It gave me over a year pain-free after each injection. I would do it again in a heart beat. Just make sure it is a Neurologist that does it.
This was done in the US, so I can't recommend anyone here. Best of luck!

If you are Pre-diabetic, you should eat like you are already one.
There are loads of things not to eat, and some you can eat in moderation.
I am now with type 2. I got no information from the local hospital on diet, so I had to use the internet for all my info.
Potatoes and rice are two things to stay away from, as well as beer, white breads, processed foods like most cereals.
You can eat something with a dash of sugar, as long as you keep it to once a day or less.
I suggest getting a diabetes test kit from your local pharmacy. Test strips too, and start checking it yourself when trying different foods.
Once you have diabetes, you will have to drastically change your eating habits, so it is best to fix it before you become a full fledged diabetic.

I have seen enough and heard enough events directly related to ghosts or spirits, that any normal person would either be freaked out or a fervent believer, but I still have many doubts. I can't grasp the belief that spirits are among us and at the same time believe was are just one of the many species that inhabit the planet, and when we are done, we are done. I could write , at least a short book on the number of things I have witnessed over a lifetime. But yet I am not a big believer, because I can not explain them. When I can explain them logically, then I will re-access.

Many of the scammers are in Thailand. He should fix that first. The police do nothing. I was told there were too many to do anything about. We had the guys bank account information at Bangkok Bank, and yet they still sat on their hands.
Easier to blame Facebook I guess.

A few times in the past couple years when I end up in Korat without my car, busses are hours apart to my home, and hours drive away. The taxi's at the bus station always charge 2 times the normal price. I have taken a tuk-tuk 3 times now. A little rough on the bum being a bumpy ride, but it was enjoyable enough to always consider it a viable option. It is almost like a ride in a convertible if you close your eyes. I guess I am not such a high-roller to miss out on some simple pleasures.

He failed to mention (for obvious reasons) that the Thai police departments also failed any action to prosecute perps in Thailand that commit the fraud.
So blame Facebook, not the local thieves.

Just broken my existing progressive glasses I bought from a rather overpriced Thai chain shop, so wanted the same order online from Zenni who charge about a quarter the price.
** As I am not experienced can someone tell me if I got the prescription correctly input please? The first (Duna) image above is from Thai shop and works well for me. Below that is what I input on Zenni. The PD of 66 seems to be a carry over from some reading glasses I had from Zenni but the Duna card does not mention PD at all so I left it at 66 on Zenni. So did I get it all OK and I can go ahead with order?
Thanks
9 hours ago, Hamus Yaigh said:They are shipping my order to Thailand now - shipping cost is 9USD. I have used them for reading glasses for several years and shipped to Thailand. Takes about 14 days from order to front door delivery. There was a slight delay during the pandemic.
I had my Zenni's sent to my sister in Ohio, USA, then DHL to me here. DHL took her for a ride, charging $189 to ship. Then DHL Tailand wanted a slice of the pie, but I told them no way. They eventually dropped the charges. Too bad the prescription turned out to be garbage. PD should carry over from an earlier script. That's the distance between your pupils. That should not change.

Tofago tabl. for migraine?
in Health and Medicine
Posted
I use SIAGRAN. Each tab is 50mg. I found half will do the job in under 2 hours if taken as soon as I feel one coming on.
No side effects for me.
It is available from my local pharmacy, no script needed.
Sometimes alcohol can cause it, a few times a year. If the trend is progressing, I will take a half after drinking, no matter how small the drink.
