  1. Im trying to minimize the complexity her This one is available close to us, and if decent enough to learn for the next 4 years it is done deal, as well easy to update with a few components?
  2. I call that BS
  3. Sounds reasonable for 3 persons at international rates.
  4. Not minimum but decent, which leaves a bit more room for individual experience. No gaming computer but decent enough for studies until university level.
  5. As said, I know Macbooks and Chromebook, and the ladt thing I will buy is a budget chromebook. Since Im not present right now, and would like to buy one decent lap top that will last for school purposes together with a google disk storage, Im open for specific solutions and be it if it extends suggested budget. Good experience buying on Lazada phones and other things.
  6. I have no clue about computer for school kids and what they need. I am only familar with Apple and Chromebook, so thats why I ask here. Can some with knownledge recomend a decent lap top to her, so I can order on Lazada and get it delivered to her directly. What kind of operative system is the most common in Thailand now ? Budget 10k +-
  7. People have different qualities and we for most, like Thailand for what it is in comparrisson to other countries. My gf would survived months in the Joungle, and I would ask how many would survived without help in uk in the local wilderness without support? Not really a fear challange, but still. What we see as necessery IQ and education today, is not worth much if all infrastructure in Uk goes down tomorow.
  8. Then chances you have contracted HIV is almost none. Still good to go to any local lab or hospital and get the test done after one month, two months and three months to be sure.
  9. I do not see what our society do in UK or Norway in comparrison where our partners, will have every equal right at once they have the right visa. Thailand do not invite us on equal rights, and we know that before we choose to stay. I do not say you are wrong, I totally see your arguements and agree, still this is Thailand. I do believe foreign pressure is the only possibility to make tham change. Still it takes more for a single Thai to move to Europe or Usa, than for us to come here to live. We are welcome as long we meet one requirment only, and it is proof of financial or willing to pay for long term visa. I believe Portugal is the only country who can meet those requirements in Europe. anyway off topic.
  10. Well we have natural segration by oppertunities, quality and pricing even we do not like to think it is like that.
  11. Equality is great, but if there is some popular destinations getting overcrowded and locals getting squised out because of it, isnt that a good reason for dual pricing? No, most thais is not more wealty than the average foreigner in Thailand, even you know many who is more wealthy than us, that doesnt give you a good measure of locals who live close by tourist attractions who use them with their families for recreation when they have time. I see both sides in this, and even Im travelling quite a bit on Thai roads, Im happy to pay dual prices once and awhile because I can, but I agree about equality is good, but not on behalf of the locals who do not have to much and need those places for their limited time and resources.
  12. Thats what we like to think all of us, no matter what opinion we have, we are influenced by some reasonable obvious reasons, and also not so reasonable.
  13. Of course, and totally agree, he have lost respect because of his actions even he might feel he was forced to find a Diana to marry, to cover over his love for a married woman. Thats why my first post suggested for popularity reasons, William should have jumped the line if they wanted a popular choice and also to preserve the support for the Royal house and institution. Anyway, Charles and Camilla is persons who people can identify theselves with, so maybe their fans is insulted by our critic of them. Only through crises such institutions like Royal houses rise in poplularity and often plays an important role to give hope. Economic crises is not a crises thow who help them in popularity if they continue living recklelsy and create new scandals.
  14. That question is valid for all of us, and should never be asked based on apperance only. To be true, my personal opinion, I do not think it was a good choice thinking of popularity and the position he have.
  15. Would you rather have Thai families paying the real price of having access to national parks, instead of very few foreigners paying higher price? Call it tourist price. 2. would it felt better if those on legal long term stay paid local prices and tourists another price? I guess most places with dual pricing is subsidised heavily to give locals who are not so wealthy access.
  16. The psychology behind cultivating royals and other famous people is quite interesting, and one reason why royals hit all time low, might be the viarity of people on many platforms people now rather choose to identifie themselves with. We’re social animals,” says Dr. Frank Farley, a professor and psychologist at Temple University and a former American Psychological Association president. “With famous media figures, people we learn about, celebrities, et cetera, we often live some of our lives through them.” Farley says this falls under the label of “parasocial behavior,” which can create a one-sided relationship in which someone becomes attached to a person without actually interacting with them in any meaningful way. Parasocial behavior could include becoming emotionally invested in your favorite television show or sports team — or, say, in the lives and dramas of the royal family. https://www.psychologicalscience.org/news/why-people-are-obsessed-with-the-royals-according-to-psychologists.html
  17. Mostly peoples ability to create and cultivate something that is not real or true, and willing to spend time and resources on fake images. Weakness of humanity I would say
  18. Well said, and respect to you for saying so. It should be possible to have an healthy educated debate about monarchy without bickering posts. Not to forget the benefits is huge for the country as face of British culture and history, but as constitution is another matter which do not belong in modern society.
  19. All the falangs they want returning to be wealthy enough to not complain about double pricing.
  20. Yeap, and please keep common sense out of it, and everything will be greater! Make Great Britain Great again ???? Just love the emotional responses it create to make a healthy debate. Proves my point actually to ther pin point ☝️
  21. You continue to impress me with your knownledge and ability to give constructive replies.
  22. Thats clever, start your reply with an insult, and continue with no essense in what I wrote. Sad statue really and a poor attempt to redicule me with the fan club. Bravo
  23. Not a popular vote, but I wrote this in the Monarchy thread
