I think the amount of accidents is higher than reported. The reason I say this is, I live near a hospital in Buriram and over the last two days their ambulances have been going past my house every 30-60 minutes with all the lights and sirens on.

Plenty of new motorbikes, cars and phone shops where I live. No one is sleeping on the streets, and most still have enough money to buy alcohol so I fail to see the problem 🤔

I've lived here 19 years and the holiday hotspots are now are disgraceful. Phuket has now areas that are a no go war zone, and Pattaya is dirtier than New Delhi. My wife and I now go to Vietnam, clean friendly and no tourist mafia.

Do they cut and paste the same lip service every year in the hope that people will believe this nonsense 🙏

So soon you'll be able to buy a fake pilots license in Soi Cowsen in Bangkok. I bet hundreds of indians and Africans are already rubbing their hands with this new job opportunity.

Skilled builders near me in Buriram are on 350 baht a day (8am to 5pm). Not sure how much the women labourers are on, but it's slave labour and needs addressing.

There's roughly 90,000 Ukraine and Russians here fulltime and most are between 30 and 50 (lots with young children), so I often wonder what visas are they on or maybe not on 🤔

Just give the hospital a an IOU and walk out. Thousands do it every year here, so go with the flow.

I was in Ho Chi Minh at New Year and two kids on a local bus just started talking to me in good English and it was a joy, as back here on Thailand all you get from them is a stare or farang farang 😴

Not surprised, as most of the Thai English teachers can only speak very basic English; also it doesn't help that the Thai governments main criteria for a job is whether you can afford to buy the teaching position. Finally, most schools now only want non-native English speakers because they're cheaper and will work unrealistic hours.

If you ask me, it's another job for President Trump. He'll have the city cleared of undesirables and leveled flat in no time.
