  1. We want to get a new automatic run around just for town use to replace the 18 year old Suzuki Step. Does anyone have any comment on which of these two would be better in terms reliability, servicing and general use. Thanks for all comments in advance.
  2. Thanks for the heads up. Appreciated
  3. I will check later as travelling but I am sure I saw a red star for mandotory on the website. New system website. Cheers
  4. Thanks I changed it to check out date, which is a required field in the online report. I used the wrong term with end date
  5. I found an old thread and went through a few threads here, but cannot find a definitive answer that immigration have given for what to enter here. I will shortly be changing to use my wife's condo address for which she has set up the online ownership part, so just have that one question. I am sure I am missing something, but if anyone could answer that, it would be very helpful. Thanks in advance.
  6. Thanks for that. Yes sending pounds for sure.
  7. Thanks. Useful information. Re taxes I meant to do with moving the money.
  8. Yes I am aware of that and the money will be a gift to my wife. And thank you for the information.
  9. I couldn't find any up to date info on here about bank transfer of several tens of thousands of pounds to Thailand, so I wonder if anyone can hlep. I am looking at transferring around 45K GBP to wife for some real estate at a good price that has come up. I have a few questions: 1. Is it best to transfer direct from my UK account to hers or direct to my Thai account and then to her? 2. Are there any current rules on amounts or paperwork? 3. Are there any taxes involves? 4. Do I just declare transfer is for wife to purchase real estate? All replies will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
  10. Thanks for a nice detailed helpful reply
  11. To be honest I am neither asking for investment advice, or looking at it as an investment but a place for us to use. I have decades of renting in Thailand and have my own reasons for wanting to go this way. Anyway, do you have a recommendation for an agency?
  12. Ooops yes. It seems I left out the important info - for purchase of a condo lower end as a holiday place
  13. Does anyone recommend any real estate agents in Pattaya? Any positive recommendations would be appreciated. So thanks in advance.
