  4. Yep. My recent Thai pass approved back on 30th April was valid for 14 day window around a 05th June entry date to Thailand. Not sure where the poster is coming from!
  5. Thai Wife entered at Swampy last week on her Expired Thai Passport. She had a Thai Pass however was no longer required. There are special Lines at Thai Pass control for Thai Passport holders to enter via...... No issues..... at all.
  6. Pre Covid the Thai Mrs. and I did exactly this in and out same day ( @ Chiang Khong ) We drove and parked at the Border Point. Got on a 'border bus across the bridge' Picked up a Tuk Tuk for the day who drove us around, lunch at restaurant above the water. Great adventure to do once. Chiang Khong is my fave place of all - hotels on the waterfront.
  7. Attached the list of requirements from Korat office for 60 day extension ( as handed out to me today ) Note: Passport Photo style photo also required.

  10. Can anyone post a Link to the latest Paperwork required for 60 Day Visa Extension at Immigration ( within Thailand ) on the basis of ( Married to a Thai )..... Thanks in advance....
  11. Wished to give back a little here... Recently travelled on Qantas from Auckland > Sydney > Bangkok on a One Way Ticket. I had pre-purchased a Rent-A-Ticket from OnwardTicket.com At check in there was nothing said about you are one a one way ticket \ only 30 Day Visa Waiver on Arrival stamp. So was it wasted $$'s purchasing the Rent-A-Ticket? Answer = No..... because I was prepared and that bought peace of mind.
  12. @dr jack54 - Can the 60 day visit wife extension be extended a further 60 days?
  13. Early was not the concern. More if it was only say in the last 2 weeks and I turned up after arriving just 10 days before. Peace of mind knowing we can rock up at any time during the 1st 30 days ???? We are talking the Korat office!
  14. So just to clarify - anytime during the initial 30 day Tourist visa one can apply? Thanks for the 30 \ 60 options
  15. Entering on 30 day Visa Waiver. At what point ( within that 1st 30 Days ) can you apply at Thai Immigration for the 60 Day Visa Extension on basis of being married to a Thai? Thnx in advance.
  16. Arriving 06th June on 30 day TV then extend 60 days ( married to a Thai ) so late August will be planning to go across.
  17. No. Only to show to NZ Airline Check in staff to prove she is Thai ( and NO entry Visa is required ) so not to have to prove \ show an outward-bound Ticket ( from Thailand ) to anywhere!
  18. Wife always enters on her Thai passport. The 'challenge' is that Air Ticket booked in married ( Western ) surname. So leaving NZ she always has to show her Thai passport to prove NO Visa is required. Leaves NZ on here Kiwi passport. Leaving Thailand Qantas has been know to issue Boarding Ticket showing both Surnames! Shows Thai passport at Customs. Never had an issue.
  19. By chance..... Would you have at hand a list of paperwork requirements?
  20. Thanks UJ. I think you answered the question that I really wanted to ask!! ????
